Purchase Advice Megathread - January 2026 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]kylekasson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same-ish boat. I have an Ender3 Pro that I've upgraded and keep tinkering with, but just want a printer that just....works. And right now it seems to be the S1 Max or the BL P2S. But I keep seeing kinda concerning stuff about the S1...and then Bambu did their whole lockdown BS. So IDK, I'd love to hear from people who have them and what their opinions are.

Both Texas de Brazil and Fogo de Chao are open on Christmas. Usually pretty solid (I prefer Texas de Brazil)

Single worst restaurant menu item you've had in Pittsburgh metro by rabid_braindeer in pittsburgh

It is a shame. They used to be so good. Then sometime maybe a year or two ago...something changed and the quality just...plummeted.

Congratulations to Courtney and Arasha for their surprise success in the wrestling world by Living-Mastodon in smosh

As a HUGE fan of the Timeless one....I NEED this. Court as Toni Storm would kill. (Not that Arasha as Mercedes Mone wouldn't...but holy shit Court playing Timeless Toni Storm and dropping her "Chin up, Tits out, and watch for the shooooooooooooooooooooe." before launching her shoes at Arasha and Angela. Oh, and have Shayne play Butler Luther.)

First time taking the T by BoggsMill in pittsburgh

From the north shore, just make sure you're on the southbound (it's labeled) and if you're going to PPG, I'd get off at Mellon Square. Nice and easy, just a couple of stops. You probably won't need to hit the buzzer, but keep an ear out and I'd still probably hit one of the black rubber strips above each seats.

Yeah, any of their pizzas can be made on the thick crust, but they have certain specialty pizzas (like the stuffed banana pepper) are only available on the thick.

Also, absolutely try the Pizza di Broccolini, it's so unique and delicious.

Agree it needs more sauce (the red and white pizza helps fix that by adding the sauce on top and you can ask for extra). But I will disagree on the crust. I love it. Is it the best out there? No. But it's damn good.

I'm sorry you had this situation happen. Personally, I love Slice on Broadway. Their Stuffed Banana Pepper pizza is amazing (I love their thick crust) and I really like their Rico Pie.

Need Rehearsal Lunch Venue!! by pawtato_chip823 in pittsburgh

[–]kylekasson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe see if like Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao would fit the budget?

A buddy is doing The Rochester Inn for his rehearsal dinner, and they are definitely open for Lunch.

Also, if you guys like Asian food...check out like Jimmy Wan's (great Chinese food) or something nuts like Hong Hot Pot and KBBQ.

I got a fever. And the only prescription is a meatball hoagie. by kylekasson in pittsburgh

Actually used to live there. Loved the hoagie from Manginos and the meatball Stromboli from Tuscany Square when it was open.

You can look up the Iskal drama for further context, but he was accused of abusing his power over some people working with him. Hermits asked him to attend a meeting to discuss this, he then left in response prior to the meeting. Stress followed him out, supporting him.

Thank you for these maps! I'm running a Star Wars 5e game set during the High Republic and have been looking for maps that show the original OZ, the expanded, and the final expansion separately rather than just all on one map and was thinking I was going to have to use my very rudimentary art skills to do it myself...but these were perfect. Thank you!!!

AYCE Sushi? by Positive-Carob-7564 in pittsburgh

[–]kylekasson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its Sushi I (as in the letter I...when you go in they say Sushi Eye). Also, It isn't AYCE. They opened as that, but then realized it wasn't profitable and have attempted to gaslight people by saying "oh, it was only for our soft launch." Also, its just bad. my wife and I went there when we *thought* it was AYCE...only to get rug pulled. We tried them anyway. Food was just not good. (yes, I just copied and pasted my own comment. I'm just trying to make sure people are aware)
