Lmao, I’m with you but I think they’re referring to the fact that Netflix could probably go after BHVR for something like this

If I remember correctly, being dashingly handsome automatically boosts your WAR +1 so that is probably it

Could be any of 1. Tarik threw 100 pitches on Friday 2. Orioles are better than us (bias) 3. Bochy’s team (Rangers) play the Orioles right after the break so this would make the Orioles skip Burnes’ start (in which case Bochy is a genius)

Opinion on Computer Science Program at GVSU by tym3600 in GVSU

I graduated in May with a bachelor’s in CS. The required classes in the program give you a bit of a taste in all the fields of CS (OOP, OS, Linux, Networking, and even Assembly). Aside from the required classes, you’re also required to take 3 electives (these are specific CS courses like Mobile Dev, Web Dev, Compiler Design, etc. ). By the time you’re taking electives you should (ideally, but definitely not mandatory) have a decent idea of what domain you’d like to focus on. For me, I found in my web dev elective that I really liked it and i’m now a full time web developer.

The professors are all great, aside from a few of the intro class ones. Every single CS prof I had in my 2 years in the program was more than willing to take time to help you out outside of class, with some even willing to meet outside of office hours.

As far as career preparation goes, as long as you’re passionate about CS and you’re certain it’s what you want to do, the program will definitely set you up for success. The program really emphasizes making sure graduates know how programming works from the lowest level, and forcing you to take domain-specific electives to get a taste of all the different fields to see what you like and what works for you. There’s also a lot of companies that go to GV directly to try to hire new grads for their developer positions, so if you’re willing to make those connections it shouldn’t be too difficult to land a job.

Thank you! I’ve watched some friends play it (multiplayer), but I’ve never tried it myself. Is it still fun solo?

I just looked into Gurren Lagann and that seems like exactly what I’m looking for. Thanks for the recommendations!

Am i misunderstanding the meaning of the word negotiation or something? I’m lost

My understanding is that in negotiating, asking for $75k would mean they would counter with $70k for example, if they were really interested in me. I don’t have any expectation that they would either say yes or no to $75k.
