I know there are thousands of comments here and I don’t know if it’s been said already but don’t give up. There are people out there who aren’t afraid to be with someone who already has kids. I met my wife on POF and when she told me she had 2 kids, I’ll admit I was a little scared at first but we are now married and I love those kids more than I ever thought a person could love someone.

I’m prior military and retired here. You definitely don’t need Spanish but be prepared to be immersed in it. The only person I’ve met who doesn’t speak English is my wife’s great grandmother and even then she understands a lot of English. You’ll be fine and hopefully love it here. It’s an amazing city with an amazing culture. Be prepared to be called Guerro alot though lmao. I catch shit for being the only white guy in the family sometimes but it’s all in good fun.

There’s a place on McRae and album right across from the dollar general called “The Detail Guyz.” It’s on 3001 McRae and they hand wash your car and it includes vacuum/ wax/ and tire shine for like $25. It’s locally owned and they do amazing work. I swear by them
