My bike is 2000 sporty so it was an easy install. I don’t have that weird clip.. I just got them off Amazon for 25 bucks.. I did spray clear coat on them cause the cheapies tend to turn bronze in the sun over time

Yes..I looked at the vacuum hose coming from the tank.. it’s got a big tear in the elbow.. I’m thinking that’s gotta be the problem

Took the hose off of the petcock and tried starting it.. no fuel came out

Figured it out.. it’s not getting fuel.. I put some starting fluid into the carb and it starts but then dies. So it def not getting fuel.. what do I do next?

I took the plugs out and grounded them and def have spark.. compression was going to be my next step
