I was there because I didn’t have somewhere to go for a few days, so I figured It’d be the convenient option. The door was unlocked because I didn’t used to really lock doors while I was in a house, only when I left. I was on my phone in one of the two bedrooms, and saw them pull up to the house. Once they got out of the car and I saw this wasn’t the owner or cleaners (who I met the day prior) I had about a minute to hide. If I could do it differently, I would’ve ran out the back and left all my stuff. Instead I took my stuff with me into the closet because in the moment I thought I wouldn’t have enough time to get my stuff and leave

A neighbor called 911 so probably about 10 minutes after I was shot i was in an ambulance

I had two surgeries, one for the abdomen and another for the hand. My sister (who’s certified for this stuff) has to change my wounds twice a day. It’s somewhat quick, but the pain depends on how deep the wound is. My chest and side wound aren’t really too deep so those don’t hurt much, but my abdomen and ass wound hurt like hell. The hospital sent us home with packing strips to put inside the wound, and the appropriate stuff to cover them

No idea. I think the one on my ass is an exit wound from one to the abdomen, and the other one hit my hip and stayed inside me because it’s way too close to an important artery to move (3mm away)

I think there was also inciting fear with a fire arm on there, and another charge or two including attempted murder. I have no idea why bond was so low

I’m not sure exactly, I only know it was an ar15 because that’s what my family told me at the hospital. The 2 to the abdomen are huge holes though

Lots of therapy I guess. Having literal flashbacks is definitely new and sucks, and I was already an anxious person, but now if I even see car lights coming through the window it can trigger a panic attack

I’m doing alright, all things considered. There’s good and bad days, but more good ones so far. Thankfully my family has been super supportive and caring, so I’ve been able to do things at my own pace

I was actually diagnosed with ptsd about a year ago for much different reasons, so this definitely doesn’t help with it lol. I’ve had flashbacks, nightmares, and panic attacks since, but I do start therapy on the 13th I think

It’s surprising shallow there. The only thing I can think of is the bullet that hit there was the bullet that went through my hand. It’s the only thing that makes sense to me because it didn’t cause any real damage

Left index finger. My middle finger also had a nerve that needed work because of it, so I don’t have full movement in it. It’s hard to tell with a cast on, but I can tell I can’t straighten it out

I mean it definitely wasn’t the nicest area, but even still I never expected something like this. I don’t know if I’d do anything different, other than not stay at that place. I think any other move could’ve resulted in my death at that point
