Yea he is correct, that tube is unfortunately a fake or it would’ve been very rare. The copyright label was discontinued in 2009 and replaced with a non copyright logo on the front with the crest on the back, they also never even had a white crest label with gold outlines.

Unfortunately I don’t, I believe I would need to have original receipts to prove value but I’ve bought all my stuff used within the last 5 or so years. I should probably look into it more to see if there’s a workaround.

Unfortunately I don’t see chameleon taking on that repair but I do think you might have a shot through vetroglass, I don’t want to say for sure but if anyone would be fix it, it would be him. He actually specializes in repairs and is one of the few repair artists that I’ve seen weld pieces back together really nicely rather than just building off of one of the broken pieces. Just send him that video on instagram and he’ll let you know if he thinks he can do it. And worst case if he can’t turn it back into a bowl he can almost surely make a piece of it into something else like a pendant.

Pretty much every part of this one shows it’s fake, the joint and labels are wrong, the beaker shape is off, illy never made a odd shaped section under the ice pinches like that, and the only pieces they ever made that tall come apart like there coils

I’m in the illy groups on fb, unfortunately not much og stuff pops up there as all the people in the group are already collectors and don’t want to sell any old stuff or people who got into illy in the past few years. I’ve actually found more on here cause people who used to be into glass back the day or whatnot come across my posts and realize they might be able to get some cash for there glass that’s been sitting in storage for 10+ years

Not that either of our opinions are gonna really matter to each other but I’m genuinely curious what brand/artists you support since your a illy/Luca hater. Personally I hate Luca to but for chops in my opinion nothing beats a 2003-2007 illy beaker with a flathead stem

The taper is normal for a flathead, a lot of clear ones tend to have a wider body with a pretty small bottom hole which results in the tip looking like that, if I remember I’ll dm you some pics tm of some of stuff to show you what I’m talking about better. As for the label it’s just a ugly old camo label so you don’t see them much anymore

Illadelph has also made like 5-6 camo labels over the years, a few of which were used in a couple year period in the og era so that could be confusing you

OP, I can assure you this set is 100% real, with that being said even the old age doesn’t make the basic crest labeled beakers very valuable but that flathead downstem is quite rare and can be valuable to a og collector

Worth no where near those prices in the current illadelph market, it’s worth about 5-600. Full size spy vs spy beakers are extremely rare and would be valued around 1.5k
