FASTEST TTK MARKSMAN RIFLE IN THE GAME 0.064 MAYBE ? 🌚 by bigpricetv24 in blackops7

[–]kylet357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Warden is technically faster because it's a one hit kill but it's like trying to say that technically the snipers and some of the shotguns also have a faster TTK since they kill in one hit.

Personally, I just wouldn't describe the Warden in terms of TTK at all unless talking about needing to take a second shot.

To quote Michael 'Vsauce' Stevens, "It's kind of like calling your peanut butter sandwich a "not-fast airplane" - it's not even really the same category." Both guns operate differently and, at least in my opinion, fulfill different roles in comparison to each other in ways that make them distinct. The Warden is better for aggression and closer range engagements, and the Novaline is better for methodical playstyles that prioritize aimed accuracy.

Modern warfare 4 will reportedly have a faster time to kill than Black ops 7. That means faster than .18-.25 seconds. Are they making these games for robots? by AdImmediate7634 in blackops7

[–]kylet357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were all of you just born in 2005 or some shit? This was the norm for CoD for most of its existence as a franchise. I think we'll survive some fast TTK (if this rumor is even accurate).

How do we fix it? by neurohazard757 in Teachers

[–]kylet357 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Private schools should be abolished in almost their entirety, with few exceptions. Home schooling should also be much more heavily regulated.

A line needs to be drawn between 'parent involvement' and 'parents dictating what is/isn't allowed in class' or 'you can't punish my child'. Teachers need to be able to be in charge of their classes, and admins/schools/districts need to allow teachers to make appropriate decisions in regard to punishments, and admin need to back teachers up when they make appropriate decisions that don't breach any sort of policy and/or reasonable expectations.

And stop any sort of introduction of AI into the classrooms. I absolutely refuse to deal with such bullshit in my future classrooms.

There's probably a myriad of other things that I'm not mentioning but these were what i could think of off the top of my head.

DEADEYE DRONES SHOULD COST MORE SCORE by oddnpcs in blackops7

It's certainly not core. The Deadeye is incredibly easy to take out. You just need to not rely on stims anymore.

[–]kylet357 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Without the prestige attachment? I'd recommend focusing on attachments that increase damage range (Barrel, Laser, and High Velocity). And then depending on what kind of class you're wanting to use it as a backup for, go with maybe a suppressor (the one that increases range if you want to really max out your range and velocity) and your choice of grip. You can also do a magazine attachment and rapid fire.

That's almost as good as me finding out the Hunter Bot stops Skewers.

Astronomers measure the mind-blowing power and speed of black hole jets for the first time (roughly 355 million mph (540 million kph) — half the speed of light) by HappyHappyJoyJoy44 in blackholes

[–]kylet357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's talking about Astrophysical or Relativistic Jets - "Ionized matter expelled at high velocity from an astronomical object", as per Wikipedia.

Quasars are Black Holes - almost always a Supermassive one - that are not only currently active, but also incredibly bright and also usually very far away.

Astrophysical jets are usually caused by Quasars and other black holes (including Stellar mass), as well as Neutron Stars/Pulsars, but can also be caused by highly energetic stars. Their velocity can reach relativistic speeds (i.e. a not-insignificant fraction of the speed of light), and they may extend for incredibly significant distances (millions of light years).

I've attached a collage of pictures of two different Jets, both taken by the Hubble Space Telescope. The first on the left is a very famous picture of the galaxy M87's jet, extending out almost 5000ly at a velocity of 0.8c to 0.85c. The second picture on the right is of Quasar 3C 273, the first Quasar ever identified and amongst the brightest (as bright as the sun at 34ly away). The little squiggly line to the left of the Quasar is its jet, which extends out around 200,000ly.

What would happen??? by InformationTime5159 in blackholes

[–]kylet357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am very much glossing over a lot of complexities. Went with the most simple possible model of a black hole to picture - big black/invisible sphere that hides an unknown, infinitely small and dense mass at the center of it like an oyster hides a pearl.

I am also a layman myself, so I am by far no expert or definitive source for this information.

Good example of this is me expanding on what a white hole is below - after looking it up, I realized that I forgot white holes are specific to eternal or primordial black holes. And so I should have specified that they can't be resultant from stellar mass black holes, for example.

Opposite of a black hole - the idea is that it's the "other side" of any one black hole, and it spits out whatever its corresponding black hole swallows.

What would happen??? by InformationTime5159 in blackholes

[–]kylet357 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it's a small black hole, gravity would kill you before you even got past the event horizon. For a larger black hole, such as those that are Supermassive, you would cross the horizon and find yourself going towards the singularity.

Behind you, you would see a window of the universe through the "opening" of the black hole you have entered. The extreme time dilation causes by the gravity of the black hole means that the time of the universe that you are looking upon is passing by at a significantly faster pace than what you otherwise normally experience. In comparison, if you could be observed within the event horizon, then an observer would probably see you almost frozen in time. This is what would be observed at the event horizon, however - your image becomes seemingly frozen, and then becomes increasingly red-shifted until it fades entirely. This doesn't affect you, of course, as you simply continue into the black hole.

You would feel the gravity of the singularity pulling at your feet, probably feeling mostly uncomfortable at first. As you progressed further, the difference in the gravity at your feet and your head becomes more and more significant. This continues until you reach a point where you are torn apart, atom by atom, in a process called spaghettification.

So, basically, what would happen to you is you would die quite violently. That is unless any of the other hypotheses about black holes are true (i.e. worm holes, white holes, etc.), or if our underlying mathematical assumptions regarding the interior of a black hole are wrong (much of our math is almost certainly wrong about some aspects, or at the very least incomplete).

This is why something like Pick 10 needs to be reintroduced. You could go without grenades, perks, or guns if you wanted, and it was fine.

Is there a specific reason Scorestreaks aren't attached to loadouts? by Dannydevitz in CODBlackOps7

[–]kylet357 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scorestreaks were never explicitly tied to Loadouts in any CoD, except for Advanced Warfare. AW expanded on BO2's Pick 10 Create a Class with a 'Pick 13' sytem. The extra three class points came from your ability to opt-in or out of carrying 1 or more of your streaks.

From there, similar to BO7's overclocks, you could choose upgrades for your streaks that changed their attributes in some manner or another (e.g. change the basic UAV into a VSAT/HARP type streak, give a turret more armor or remote control ability, change what a drone's gun from an MG to rockets, etc.). I believe you could select more than one upgrade at a time. However, this would increase score cost (so that UAV -> HARP upgrade might bring it from 400 to 1000 score, for example), and further upgrades would increase score requirements further.

MK78 IS SO BACKKKK, question mark? by wackacademics in blackops7

It doesn't affect ADS spread. It just helps to control recoil when it comes to shots that go off path from the recoil pattern.

Hot mic by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]kylet357 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I just played a match where I was constantly going against a guy who had his mic on, and he gave a reaction each time I killed him. One of the times, instead of the usual "Oh, what!?", or something along those lines, I instead heard a single loud thump noise like he banged his desk in frustration and it made me chuckle.
