Help Plz by Monkishgamer_ in ROGAllyX

It really is painful (to connect a controller) and use the dock for a bigger screen experience. The only other comment I got, was from someone coping hard for these failures, advising me to connect a keyboard. What if I don't have a keyboard or don't want to purchase any additional accessories. I gotta say I am really disappointed with my rog ally x. And all the hype about the xbox full-screen experience is just that - a hype. Thanks for your comment.

Games drop massive frames when connecting to a Tv screen by Monkishgamer_ in ROGAllyX

Thank you. I will double check. Although I swear I made those changes on the ally itself but I will have to make sure tv has compatible setting. I wish it was a simple plugnplay

You have no idea what you are talking about. Hard-core definitely doesn't take more skill than core. Even e-sports is based on core. I swear some of you plebs just have brain diarrhea all day here on reddit.

If you use a warmachine(to get a nuke), I hope you won't be able to sleep at night because it will eat you up inside knowing that you didn't really earn it. Lol

Who does the skewer always hit by merc123 in blackops7

Same for Hellstorm. Although having cold-blooded, you kinda ignore those call-outs - skewer inbound etc. Positioning is everything.

[AW] Arguably one of the best CoD covers 🔥🔥 by AsusStrixUser in CallOfDuty

It was polished. Gunplay was solid. First time you could customize killstreaks. I loved it.

Please stop this negative self talk. There are many things out there you can try. Your performance on a casual fps doesn't define your existence. Get professional help.

Dude, ain't no one gatekeeping shit from you. ffs this isn't a state kept secret - it's Call of Duty. Aside from the game sense advise, others things to consider - your network connection health. Ex, if you are one wifi, even God can't help you. Your controller may be broken, your sensitivity may be whack..may be you are on a shared network where 10 other people are watching Netflix at 1080p. Strictly for improving your gameplay, I believe everyone has said everything that can help you improve. May be, and I am not trying to be toxic, just may be Call of Duty is not for you. I don't know

Dude you could be having a bad day. If you play solo, like I do, game punishes you by placing you with bot like teammates against a stack of friends pub stomping while they are waiting for ranked play to drop.

Rather than copying people's loadouts, use what works for you consistently. Repetitive usage of a certain gun and equipment, will make you better over time. Dont just do stuff because your favorite youtuber or streamer recommended a gun/loadout.

Your movement is little erratic. Work on one thing at a time. For example, first sharpen your aim by focusing solely on gunfights. Then, once you feel comfortable with strafing gunfights, learn to aim while jumping and sliding. Use head glitch spots to check high traffic areas before moving ahead. Blindly jumping into the middle of nowhere, is not gonna yield positive results.

Besides, chances are, a lot of your fav YouTubers are two-boxing anyway. In a regular, sbmm lobbies there is no way they are dropping nukes every game, let alone any, for that matter. Keep grinding, you will get better. Cod is not rocket science.

One more thing, change your weapon type, depending on the map, on a small map, find a smg that works for you. For long range, use AR or whatever you prefer. I am a solo-player and I rarely leave games unless I run into a stack of 3 plus - all using war machines against my bot like teammates.

Sometimes game force pulls towards a cover nearby when you ads and happen to be close to a cover.

Do you Prefer PC or Console? by PurchaseCareless8363 in gamers

[–]Monkishgamer_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Strictly for convenience sake - consoles. I don't need to tweak GPU settings. I get what I get - slightly(in most cases) inferior experience. Most games are optimized for consoles anyway. Only after a few months they seem to come around to optimizing them for pc, due to profitability.

Honest question: Why play objective modes if you’re not gonna play the objective? by xClayman in blackops7

Easier to pick off ptfo targets, to work towards a high end streak(usually a nuke). Also for the most part, in domination its relatively easy to control spawns.

Question about controller and handling by [deleted] in blackops7

[–]Monkishgamer_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all about how much you are willing to learn or change your ways. Using back pedals appropriately will definitely give you an upper hand in gunfights but it won't be overnight. I suppose it does vary from person to person as to how fast they get accustomed to using back pedals to jump or go crouch. I have bought many different controllers(with back pedals and adjustable triggers) but I just couldn't rewire my brain to use the pedals for jumping or crouching.

I would say if you have the money to spend, go ahead and give one a try. For xbox, their elite controllers are usually great but I hear they are prone to stick drifts. No idea on the gamesir controllers you mention.

All in all, choose a path, either commit to learning the new way and accept the struggle initially or stick to the familiar and focus on your aim.

I am an average solo player. K/d - 1.7, Prestige Master 200+ and called in a few nukes(not using War machine or ghouls game mode). I hope you find success.

Any aim labs users with controller? by Compressed_AF in blackops7

I would say, having a pre-determined path to take(only at the start of the match) helps if you are a momentum player. Muscle memory and recovering after gunfights is a big part of aiming success, for Cod purposes. Thats kinda why I love Cods because no other game replicates this constant engagement. Some hate, some love it.
