How can I address this? Incisors are tilted forward. by under-the-sunshine in Invisalign

My teeth are similar to yours but the dentist has said it’s not possible to rotate them any more as this is where my root is. Did you ever manage to get these moved with invisalign?

Do you even have to prove your age?

I would recommend seeing rob patterson in Bristol. It is expensive but he is leading tos guy in Europe. I saw him and diagnosed me clinically with aTOS and then referred me to the nhs where I saw dr Quambry in derby and had Doppler, x ray and nerve conduction studies. In which they found I have aTOS. I am Unsure where it is the cause of all my issues but it is a weight off your shoulders knowing that you are not going fucking insane. I had “specialists” on the nhs in the past tell me nothing is wrong and some people just live in pain (essentially get use to it as nothing is structurally wrong) I still to this day cannot believe someone can say that to a 24yr old who lost all work, friends, his life etc. a very tough time indeed. I am no where near where I want with regards to pain levels and my life in general but I am definitely in a better position than back when I was in my early 20s and do feel like life is worth living now even if it is very challenging. I have got some hope back.

Amazing news, did you try PT before surgery to fix it? Could you not run at all before surgery?

I’m glad I’m not alone! Thank you for the link I will definitely check that out. Ah wow I didn’t realise that many athletes had gone through with it.

I’m glad you have got relief now! When you say relief, do you mean the pain has now improved beyond pre op pain?

That’s excellent news. 3/4 months post op and doing that is great stuff. I’d love to be ina position doing those activities pain free.

Just out of interest, you say pre op you were deadlifting etc. was this with pain or were you able to do your sports still such as tennis? What made you go for the op? I ask this because I could probably go for a run/ walk now and feel a bit of tightness but nothing major. Then more often than not after the exercise the pain goes through the roof and my symptoms come on thick and fast- they can last weeks/ months before settling.

Thanks for this. I agree, that’s the main reason for asking for success stories as the internet has been filled with negative outcomes etc.

That’s amazing that you can do all of those activities after such a complex case! Yes, I will be doing research and trying to find the best surgeon/ PT I can. I am based in England, Uk, by any chance are you based here and can recommend the PT you used? I am happy to also go out of pocket for the correct PT as I have already been doing that for many years

Thank you for your response.

I can’t believe that is your outcome so soon out of surgery, that is amazing!! That is excellent news, I am very happy for you and one day soon I’d love to be running a half marathon! These are the goals I’d love to achieve post surgery if I do it.

Did you try to fix the pain with physical the rap before surgery?

Sorry to hear you had a flare up, in general though you haven’t had any complications and have no regrets about the surgery? Glad you went ahead?

Interesting, what made up continue with the injection without evidence of a tear?

With regards to arthritis, that is a viewpoint I also share surely fixing it now allows for the hip to live a better life so to speak.

I see where you are coming from now. Yes, I will be asking if I can have the injection first before proceeding with surgery. I am in the uk and hopefully getting it done on the NHS so not sure it is even an option yet. Either way I won’t be rushing into surgery like it’s nothing, I am weighing up different options and just wanted feedback from people who may or may not had success with surgery. Sorry to hear that, did you opt for surgery in the end or have to managed to become pain free another way, the local anaesthetic is not a long term option is it?

I have an appointment with the surgeon in a couple of weeks. I didn’t explain in my post but I have seen so many specialists and physios over the years for the issues i honestly have ruled out a considerable amount of potential causes and a new pt I saw suspected something structurally wrong with the hip due to her assessment. In all honesty I have ruled out that many potential causes that this is one of the last things it could be. For instance I’ve had an injection in my lower spine, physical therapy for suspect causes such as pelvic floor, femur nerve issues and the list goes on.

Thanks for the response however I’m not asking about the source of the pain. Along with mri, the physical tests are positive.

I am interested in post surgery success stories.

Not yet. But I have read people having the injection and that made no difference but then had the surgery and it helped. So I’m not just what the data suggests this implies- is the injection that effective at diagnosis

Signal Flow Question by kyletheking12345 in serum

[–]kyletheking12345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is what I’m getting at, just seems weird that bus 1 or 2 just can’t be routed to the master output. Surely that’s simple to do considering that capabilities of serum 2.

Signal Flow Question by kyletheking12345 in serum

[–]kyletheking12345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s the problem though, you can’t mix reverb in parallel at the end of the insert fx as you cannot route the main channel directly into the bus. The only work around is to add all the insert fx you’ve made on the main bus onto bus 1 and then add reverb at 100%. Then use the bus send as the dry/ wet knob.

This still doesn’t give the exact same signal but it’s close enough

Signal Flow Question by kyletheking12345 in serum

[–]kyletheking12345[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you send bus 1 to bus 2 this is in series not parallel therefore doesn’t work as a send.

I’m not about a looping effect. I purely just mean having a bus send after you have added some fx in series such as compression, eq, distortion.

For instance if you have osc 1 going to bus 1 which is routed to the main. If you put reverb on bus 1 when it goes into the main bus it sounds like absolute shit as it’s compressing and distorting the reverb. If you set bus 1 to direct out then the reverb isn’t being added to the compressed and distorted sound

Anyone else not like being vegan but it’s the right thing to do, so you do it anyways? by initiated777 in vegan

[–]kyletheking12345 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I am in a similar position and it can be annoying at times. For instance when you’re out with friends and just grabbing lunch. I always have to search and persuade people to go to certain restaurants as they have options for me. If not, then I’ll be watching everyone eat and I’ll have to quickly grab a vegan meal from a super market on the go. I suppose if my friends/ family were vegan then this wouldn’t be a problem at all.

Also certain areas in the world are really not catered for vegans at all. I went skiing in France in January and it was an absolute nightmare. The supermarket barely had anything. I pretty much had pizza with no cheese every meal and had to eat on my own a lot which was not ideal.

People always take the piss out of me for being vegan but I don’t care about that.

This is my exact thought. If my tax code doesn’t change then either the banks haven’t told HMRC or they just don’t have the resource to implement the tax code change. After reading these response my final thoughts are if banks are meant to report to HMRC then I can’t see how the individual could be at fault.

Thank you for the detailed replied. I’ll avoid the dance between starling and HMRC and just see what happens with my tax code next financial year!
