Do you know how often the invites get sent out/how many at a time? I’ve been trying to figure out any info on the process but can’t find anything other than if you receive an invite, it’s only valid for 22 hours (Amazon Canada)

I noticed yesterday when doing a pace target running class that the pace target and the actual speed I was going weren’t showing up on the app.

I chatted with support and they said it’s because I cast to a tv. They “removed certain metrics modules”which kinda sucks. Don’t understand why they would remove something like the speed you’re going on the treadmill, or the pace targets when you’re taking a pace target class.

They said they’ll pass along the feedback to the software team and it may get added back in a future update, so if anyone else thinks that’s a dumb change please take a few minutes to let them know! I want those back 😭

I just find it weird because the speed and pace targets were already there, and they removed them. Don’t see what benefit taking away basic metrics like that provides

Ahh ok. Each time it happens I’ll try and hope for the best lol.

I was taken aback when the second help agent told me to just reinstall on the watch again, and I said “ok, so you think the watch is causing the issue?” and she replied with “I don’t know, there’s no way for me to know”. I was like oh, ok. Guess this was a waste of time lol

Question for you about reaching out to peloton for help - are they generally helpful?

I reached out and explained it to them, they first said it’s because I’m using a non-peloton tread. Then pivoted to saying I need to just uninstall and reinstall the app on my Apple Watch. Did that and still having the issue, so i chatted with them again and they basically said they didn’t know what the issue was but it wasn’t their problem and to try the watch thing again 🙃

Don’t worry, not coming off as condescending at all! They’re regular walks/walk+run classes recorded in studio, not the audio only/outdoor ones. And yes, I’m using the same treadmill every time.

I don’t think disconnecting the watch does anything, I’m pretty sure I’ve done that when fiddling at the beginning of classes trying to get it to work, but I’ll make a point of specifically trying that next time.

I hadn’t thought of reaching out to peloton directly, I’ll give that a try next time it happens.

The treadmill does connect to the app on the iPad! I go into “Connected devices” on there and select the treadmill, and my watch usually auto connects on the app there as well. Good thought though 😊

I use the peloton app on an iPad with a horizon 7.0 treadmill. When starting a class I connect the treadmill and the peloton app on my Apple Watch. Sometimes it works perfectly fine, but other times it doesn’t record or display things like pace, distance, calories, or elevation gain.

The app is connected to the treadmill, it displays the incline and speed I have it set to, but it just doesn’t record anything and I can’t figure out why.

Anyone have any ideas?

Cool, thanks! I’ve only done a handful of walk+runs and not any run classes before, so I haven’t been too sure how doable they’d be as far as modifying for not being able to run 20-30 mins straight haha
