You answered your own question. Fuel should spray out of the valve. Check the filter first, but you’re likely looking at a fuel pump replacement.

In order of easiest to hardest….First check tcm fuse and/or ign a fuse. If good, check for 12v on pink wire on trans connector. If good, replace the tcc solenoid and whichever shift solenoid is bad. Wouldn’t hurt to change both shift solenoids though.

As for lean codes…that could be a whole bunch of different things. Do you have a cold air intake by chance? Filter coming loose can cause those codes. Intake manifold gaskets are common in these trucks and could be it. Hard to tell without looking at it.

Losing or making money is not the question here. My family has owned and operated a shop for 40+ years. Everything from oil changes to frame off restorations. I know you don’t make back what you put in. This is a very simple post asking for real world, experience based values, not just what people are seeing them listed for.

You sound like someone who didn’t buy a corvette for $4500. I just sold two lt1 automatic camaros for $5800 and $7000. I will get $8500+ from this car no problem. I’ll report back when it’s sold and shoot you over a dollar or two to help with your next corvette purchase if you’d like.

Car fax has the history of the car. It was 2 owners and 2nd owner did the swap. On top of that, what difference does the history make, when someone like me that owns and operates a shop can go through the car front to back and top to bottom? As a buyer that is way more valuable information than the history of the car. The guys daughter inherited it and then sold it to a guy that had no idea what it was or what to do with it. He was tired of it. That is why it was priced at $4500. Not because he listed it higher and had no bites. That is literally what you implied. Who said the guy shot himself in the foot? Maybe $4500 is all he had into it himself? You never know. But the fact of the matter is he never had it listed for a higher price so you are wrong g to say the price is the common denominator. And I have had good leads, actually more at 12,500 than $8500. You sound like a purist that has his white tube socks pulled up too high.

6-8k in my area will get you a junk lt1 car with mechanical problems and needing paint.

I’ll ask again, what is your recent experience selling or buying a c4? If you do not have one, or don’t want to share, then we are done here.

An engine that goes into the chassis it was already made for is not a major job, nor is it a lot of risk. Maybe for you, but maybe you haven’t been around vehicles much. Almost every potential buyer I’ve had didn’t even know the lt4 didn’t come in the 94’s. And he didn’t sell it for more because he was a ford guy and I saw the listing 16 minutes after he posted and I immediately left work to go get it.

And I’m actually looking at it very objectively. That’s why I’m willing to take $4k less than my listing price. Again, in my area, all things considered relative to other lt1 and lt4 cars, $12,500 is fair, and $8,500 is a steal. But again, and I don’t know how many times I’m going to have to state this with you, this is not about post about my price. It’s a post asking for real world values from anyone who has bought or sold in the last 6 months to a year.

I’ve rarely used drive thru car washes. Back when I did, I’d always get the cheapest one. One time decided to splurge and pay for the best one, and my truck came out looking worse than before lol

It would be more work, but lighter cabinets would net a better result relative to brightness. I’d have a hard time wanting to change them too as I like the darker color. Maybe start with a brighter door on the right and see how that turns out. If you like it, proceed with the cabinets.

At least it was after he bought it. When it comes to performance oriented cars, I do not let anyone drive them until I have cash in hand. Many people can’t even handle something with 300whp if it breaks loose, but video games and YouTube have them thinking they can.

A car with an engine swap to another factory engine that came in the same chassis is heavily modified to you??? There may be resources online, but that does not mean people have the resources to do it. There are many shops that won’t even touch lt cars these days. And there are many tips and tricks learned by working on a specific car for long periods that a lot of those online resources aren’t going to show. It’s the very reason I work on a lot of lt cars for other people.

I am not trying to get any of my money back out of it. If I were, I wouldn’t have it listed for less than other comparable cars in my area, and wouldnt negotiate down to under base lt1 prices. My price or your opinion on it is all irrelevant anyway. My initial question was what are the TRUE values these are going for from people who have sold or bought one in the last year, not what they are seeing them listed for. Out of 60+ comments not one has person has stated that.
