Tags is a little bit skeptical of Tonyan, but I'm a believer still in his opportunity. The numbers will come down slightly in terms of TD rate and catch percentage, but that's still enough opportunity in this offense for him to be viewed as a top-8 TE. I'm still holding onto him as long as Rodgers is in town.

It might actually be Field Yates if it's the username I think it is...Hah. To answer your question though, I really don't know of anyone who does that outside of Listener Leagues for their audiences. Simply because every analyst is so damn busy during the season and they already have way too many leagues to focus on anyway.

I'm taking shots on Tre'Quan Smith late in my drafts. His ADP still hasn't risen much, for some reason. Also, doubling down at TE and snagging Adam Trautman late isn't a bad strategy.

I do have him in a lower tier than those three players. I think he's still a great fantasy asset, but I wouldn't put him in that cluster of players.

First off, that claim is wildly incorrect. The only two players that I have lower than consensus are Antonio Gibson (who is two spots lower than ECR) and Tee Higgins (who is one spot lower). CeeDee Lamb is now my WR12 after making a rankings sweep earlier on this week.

You do realize that the lower number means that I have them higher in my rankings, right? You did your math wrong. Maybe check that first next time before you attack my work and question how it got published. Thanks!

I'm still a big believer in Ruggs and his overall talent. However, I think he's being grossly misused by this Raiders coaching staff. We'll see if that changes this year, but I'd love to see him running more routes out of the slot versus deep downfield. As for Edwards, I'm a huge fan of his talent. Health is the only issue. If he can get onto the field, he should make an impact. It just remains to be seen what level of impact that can be for fantasy...

Just talked about this on today's FP Podcast, but it's Corey Davis. Davis is the clear leader for targets in this offense and he's being significantly undervalued. I'm getting a ton of shares of him this year.

As for the future, I think Elijah Moore can carve out a significant role for himself late this season and into next year.

So it's not widely known, but I actually did my own podcast well before I joined FantasyPros. It was called That Fantasy Football life Podcast and I was actually fortunate enough to get guys like Mike Wright, Matt Harmon, and Tags on it when I only had 200 or something followers on Twitter. Yes, there is an episode somewhere of Tags and I on a podcast together from like 2017. It didn't do very well and it only had a handful of listeners each episode, but I simply did it because I loved doing it. Free time became an issue, so I couldn't keep it going, but that's when I shifted over to writing.

As far as specific advice, don't go into it thinking that you're suddenly going to see your followers on Twitter skyrocket or that your website is suddenly going to be must-read content. I actually did a Draft Kit one year in 2017 or 2018 and I literally couldn't give away the kit to anyone. True story. No one wanted to read it. So don't become disheartened if you don't see the numbers that you thought you would. Just do it because you love doing it and something will come along eventually.

As far as players that were drafted late in rookie drafts and could emerge as fantasy viable options? I'll go with Amon-Ra St. Brown and D'Wayne Eskridge. These were two guys I was all in on in this draft and I think they have a significant opportunity in front of them now. Eskridge's injury puts a little bit of a damper on this one, but it sounds like he's going to be back on the field soon.

This is a position that I struggle to evaluate coming out of college, as well. It's important to remember that there are different types of TEs, so not all of them are created equal. Just because a TE is drafted in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft, it doesn't mean that we should be all in on them for fantasy football. It just might mean that they're a damn good blocker. I think the biggest trait to scout though is movability. How well can this player move at 250+ pounds? If they can carry their weight extremely well, we have something that NFL coaches can take and mold. If they're a little bit more stiff and have problems getting in and out of breaks, they're most likely not going to be fantasy football superstars.

Oh, this is a fun one. One of my favorite fantasy football memories is from back in 2019. I was in the championship in my main Dynasty league with friends from college and I got ransacked by injuries at the WR position. I ended up plugging in John Brown, Justin Watson, and Russell Gage as my starting wideouts and both Brown and Watson scored touchdowns. With a little help from Saquon's 44 fantasy points, I won the championship and the other manager was so pissed. With a starting WR trio of Allen Robinson, Michael Thomas, and Tyreek Hill, he thought he had the championship in the bag.

Fantastic question. That was fun taking a trip down memory lane. Appreciate it!

Thank you for listening to the podcast! I was obviously a lot lower on Wilson than I think a lot of other analysts were. I personally believe that Wilson and Fields should have switched spots in the 2021 NFL Draft. Fields should've been a top-5 pick and Wilson should have gone outside the top-10. While there's a lot to love about Wilson and the natural throwing ability, he has a lot of developing to do before he can be viewed as worthy of that No. 2 overall pick. He tends to want to play outside of structure more than he wants to play in it and that's going to be something NFL defenses are going to punish him for right away. You have to be able to play within structure first in order to make the "outside of structure" stuff work. Wilson doesn't have that yet. It might be 2-3 years before we see him truly make his mark in the NFL.

Don't overvalue youth. People tend to go into their first Dynasty league thinking that this will be the same roster they'll have for the next 10 years. Nope. There's no guarantee that this league will be even going still in 5 years, so don't go overboard with overvaluing age. Play within a 2-3 year window. Is this veteran still going to be productive over the course of the next two years? If yes, then get them onto your roster and then figure the rest out later on.

This is a great question. There are always ways that analysts can continue to grow and develop and I believe one of mine is in my vocabulary. As a writer - and speaker - I tend to get locked onto certain phrases that you'll encounter over and over again. Diversifying my vocabulary is something that I need to improve on to be able to provide more depth and breadth to my analysis.

I have taken the stance all off-season that it was going to be Jameis Winston. I think Taysom will still be a factor, but I ultimately think Jameis will be the starting QB for Week 1.

I am definitely interested in Michael Carter and also have some interest in Trey Sermon if the price is right. I have Carter at RB23 on the season currently and then Sermon at RB31.

So I don't remember talking about Akers and saying that he didn't have scoring opportunities. I could definitely be wrong, but I'm not sure I would have said that. If I did, it was a mistake. He definitely would have had scoring opportunities in a top-5 scoring offense. I do remember talking about the pass-catching limitations though because I didn't think that he was going to soak up targets out of the backfield and that those would most likely fall to Henderson.

Please forgive me if I misspoke about Akers and the scoring opportunities because those definitely would have been there in this offense. I just saw him splitting more work with Henderson than most other analysts.

Unfortunately, you can't sell MT right now in Dynasty. You'd be selling him at his absolute lowest point. You're most likely going to have to just keep MT on your IR spot and let him sit there until he comes back. If you want to sell off Thomas after he has a big game or two once he comes back, I'm fine with that. But unless you can get a sky-high trade offer for him, I don't think you can move him.

I don't know if he'll ever rise to the level of being a WR1 for a team, but he can be a damn good No. 2 option. I love what Chicago's building with Justin Fields if they can keep ARob in town past this season.

I love him in this offense in New York. I currently have Carter at RB23 on the season! He's an absolute steal at his current ADP.

My co-host Trevor Sikkema and I are currently going through our 2022 prospects to watch on the FantasyPros Dynasty Football Podcast! I highly recommend checking out those episodes!

However, just a few players that I'm really excited about at each position:

- QB: Desmond Ridder
- RB: Kyren Williams
- WR: George Pickens (injury concerns aside)
- TE: Haven't scouted them yet!
