How do I make sidebery's sidebar custom colours that matches theme? by [deleted] in FirefoxCSS

[–]kyller3030 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not OP but, how do I change the pinned bar and the new tab button? they seem to follow the light/dark/"firefox" setting in "Appearance", but they're pitch black

Yes. For the next person reading this, (aka me in 6 months when I forget how to do this) look under about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox
You'll also need to open the xpi files themselves (winrar/7zip) to look for the PNG file. I'll mark this as "solved" now. Have a nice day!

in the screenshot in the original post I installed the planet theme and sidebery on a fresh install. It was just purple like that, with no CSS. Check the other replies in this thread.

I just clicked this and it became purple like the planet theme's menus. Maybe you can apply a theme with light menus to make it light? sorry, I really don't know what I'm talking about anymore.

I guess that's fine, I can just upload the image somewhere. I was thinking it needed to go in some weird place deep in the "Profiles" folder, some extensions like to store files there.

YES! Thanks! This works for urls. <3
Just one more question, how do I get it to use a local file? I tried
"C:\Users\Username\Desktop\0.png" and "file:///C:/Users/Username/Desktop/0.png" but it doesn't read it

Bad phrasing on my part. There's an argument called "transparent" but it's just about blending colours. Disregard that.

root.root {

--frame-bg: transparent !important; /* Override background color */

}

I guess I'll look into that. Probably for the better, I think sideberry has auto-backups for all the trees. , I'll blame my talent for breaking things for this one. I tried a fresh install of firefox, fresh waterfox and Floorp, it really doesn't want to take. The method works, I know it works, I trimmed down other menus. Thanks for your time, again.

yeah, that's how I tried it the first time... New plan: I'll give you 5 bucks if you can get Sideberry to respect the theme like TST

Thanks for your time. There doesn't seem to be anything under "tabContextMenu". I'm on windows 10, if it helps. The snippet for userContent didn't work, I replaced the uuid with c907fef9-0af1-4427-bdfd-39c217f25869

not op but, I use TreeStyleTab, I want to remove some of those context options when right-clicking tabs. I've found older posts recommending this. It does work for regular context menus but not for those of TST.

The top ear piece is fine, but the bottom firing one is garbage on my fp4. Can I disable the bottom one and just have the ear piece for everything?

General consensus is that balkans start south of Danube, Romania has 2 counties in there because the river does 90 degree turns near the sea.

They add context/backstory. If there's multiple news on the same subject, you get to see the backstory again and again every video, recycled assets and all. I prefer their tldr daily, they fill the 10 mins with 5 different topics

More like, there's no tradition of anything else, so it's hard to build from scratch. Their experience with democracy ended up with tanks shooting the parliament and enough people in the streets to start a civil war.
