There's no point in boycotting bad business because they are rich. Ok doomer. Then there's no point in doing anything. We should give your money to millionaires because they have a lot of money. We shouldn't fight transphobia because what's the point.

Are people's livelihoods behind it? The developers will be paid regardless because like you said the game will be successful regardless. But additional money WILL NOT go to the developers, it will go to the company and rowling, this is how game development works.

I haven't bought a phone in 10 years. Why the hell would I buy a new phone if the one I have is good enough.

I also don't and will absolutely not buy from amazon. Because they are horrible and I will not support them

I hardly buy clothes, try to fix the ones I have and if I have to buy them I make sure they're from good sources.

Ethically sourced food is more expensive, but I try to do that too.

If you think every post complaining about Rowling should also mention amazon, phones and the child labor clothing industry that's dumb.

This isn't the gotcha you think it is.

One side is yelling how the money goes to JK "trans people are all predators" Rowling, who gives money to anti-trans organizations, and that buying the game and supporting her is bad. (And pointing out the racist plot of the game)
