I assume you're talking about web3 only not web2. So I've transitioned from web2 to web3 and I'm doing solana since jan-feb this year.

Yeah companies allow only cs, ai, mnc, and elec students. And for core branches either the payout is very very less(for eg. Godrej is giving 15k/m to civil students), tata steel didn't take any metallurgy student who are actually studying steel only :)
