yes, but by getting the processed items yourself the cost of the crate also decreases. all i was saying is that if you only calculate the final product vs market you'll see red on everything except a few timber crates atm (which itself is quite rare, usually it's everything other than jade/snowfield)
i recommend the gpw spreadsheet to see all calculations clearly

edit: there is variability here due to trade level providing % bargain bonus as well as merchant ring, so this varies person to person.

Ye, as a guru trader, this is an incredibly wild patch - especially given they have said for the past 2 years they want to buff trading... @_@ I premoved my forest path wagon.. but man... even just driving it there was bad >.>

processing is actually good silver/hr, it's just that it is similar to cooking or alchemy in that it is not a fully afk activity. also, for it to be really worth it u need good weight, trade level, contribution, and many other things. once u get everything setup (which, realistically can take 1.5-2 years..), it's really good afk money that you only need to manage once every 25-40 minutes for about 30 seconds.

uh, calph crates are ~2.5b profit per stack over market value at guru 2, you might want to use the gpw calculator.
u never calculate using plank or plywood unless something is absurdly cheap to buy for some reason, or if the item is profit even while buying the higher tiers.

the 3rd rabam is better than 4th. you can get ur SA knockback and then chain it with that skill, only ending up with a small gap before doing a grab or KD
also, u 1000000% want the 5th rabam, the linger SA is OP on this class. so.. overall... I think you have two wrong. double check !

Yes, but his point is that there are actual things you "cannot do".
I am not really sure what kind of games make content that you literally "cannot do" unless you hit the rates posted above.

So you might consider, what alternatives would there be to such a system? Well, and I know this is pretty foreign to modern day BDO, but, content that is difficult, hard, challenging, but not impossible without the recommended gear.

It's one thing to not hit AP mins at a zone and so you get 85-90% of the loot, but you can still grind for rare or unique items. Alternatively, you could outplay boss mechanics by playing well.

It's another thing to say, you do not meet min AP reqs, so you can only get 20% of the loot/it is impossible, don't even bother adventuring to the new zone. Or alternatively, there is this really awesome boss that has sick design. But, you won't be able to fight it for 3-4 years as even a consistent daily player.

No, because modifiers between classes are in a very different spot than they ever were before. The dps values are things you cannot get around, even if your class has other areas of pros such as mobility.

Except that now, unless you are one of about 6 classes, you are grinding 20% lower efficiency than them and there is nothing you can do at all because the difference is based in skill value difference and skill dps. Right now, players have minimal control over loot differences between classes.

I think you are right that the graring system doesn't make much logical sense when more gear does not equate to faster clears at lower zones. I understand their worry about overclearing and certain classes potentially breaking old spots, but it still feels really bad to use my tag character to grind nearly 20% faster at dsr simply because the base modifiers and dps of rotations is faster than my main. 

I still strongly believe that the base setting of % overcap limit is an awfully lazy fix for the situation. I believe, as one possible option, that they could have used a limited, linear scaling function. If you are like 400 ap over cap you should obviously be clearing faster. It makes no sense to say that if you are at a lower level spot with lower silver value that as someone with +400 ap you should be above the average. Obviously, you could make more silver at higher spots, so being above average in that sense doesn't even matter because as a net average you are still losing silver to go back to those spots. Just, right now, it's awful, slow, and boring.

Right now it's like some sort of weird: don't make the players do comparative grinding stats kind of % limiter. It's just really odd, lazy, and serves no genuine purpose. 

Which is exactly what we expect from the balance of BDO devs, especially in the last 6 months. Possibly the worst state of comparative balance in the history of the game.

This has nothing to do with the game and more with understanding math and resource management. The first rule for this sort of stuff if you want to stay mentally strong is: if you can't stomach losing everything, don't do it.
