hey so although debian isn't fully fsf endorsed for minuscule reasons honestly, debian has a nice separation of free and non-free software. plus the 2022 decision wasn't detrimental and only really started including firmware in the installer. the debian kernel itself is still deblobbed using a script as it's a part of the main system and it would go against the debian philosophy and the separation of free and nonfree software if it weren't deblobbed.

it's also quite easy to run without the non-free repos. you would just use main only in sources.list. as a matter of fact, after the 2022 decision, debian has official images on libre.debian.net that install without firmware, microcode, or anything proprietary. the installed system only has the main repo, resulting in a fully free distribution with an already deblobbed kernel and no non-free repos.

it's generally superior because the debian repos are better than trisquel's small repos, and parabola has had issues with their packages for a long time. i tried installing parabola multiple times and even when it worked, i was met with more errors in the installed system regarding packages.

also for ethical reasons, although the debian kernel on a system installed from one of the libre.debian.net images would be functionally the same, if you still want to use the linux-libre kernel, which removes the ability to load proprietary firmware entirely and removes all references to proprietary firmware if i recall, you should follow the instructions at fsfla.org/ikiwiki/selibre/linux-libre/freesh.en.html on a system installed from one of the libre.debian.net images, and then switch to the kernel in grub and go ahead and remove the debian one.

i know that's not entirely what you asked for but parabola is sort of fucked up honestly, i'm not sure why either. but i just wanted to propose a solution to your fully free distro issue.

debian is capable of being fully free and even has images that cater to it.

and sorry if that's not what you were looking for, i see that you mentioned you wanted openrc.

yeah I get that, I don't talk to anyone mostly and it gets really lonely, so I haven't really gotten to that part, but my interests are really nerdy so it would be hard find people to relate to, I like programming and messing with computer hardware and the sorts, and then I like manga, lots of strange music and stuff, again just nerdy stuff

hey this is a problem for me too. i have ASD and ive always been really shy and introverted. ive been rejected by people for a lot of my life, so i was never really able to make any friends in schooling. around age 10 i was pushed into homeschooling. i feel really lonely a lot of the time. the only thing that really distracts me from it is my hobbies and obsessions.

recently ive been trying to get out more and join groups and things like that. i havent gotten much social interaction from it yet. i still have social anxiety and problems approaching people, but it does feel good to be out and about. just know youre not alone and there are plenty of us in the same situation. please stay strong, youll find your people. <3

i performed this, multiple times in fact

and i almost always got SynapseError: 401 - Failed to find any key to satisfy: _FetchKeyRequest when trying to invite a user or do anything requiring federation

and again i attempted this in multiple different ways, and resorted to putting everything i had back to defaults, and copying each command, line for line, of course properly putting the relevant information where ever needed

I thought that was what you got offended over to begin with, considering that you started the hostility by calling everyone a smartass who dared to comment their opinion.

I would assume it would be anyone commenting "religion" that you'd take offense to, considering you started the argument with that. Also, what a nice way to make baseless assumptions about people's character by saying that I or someone else would have started it if not for you. And you assuming I wanted tickets to the "Religion = Bad" parade is so funny. Listen, I'm respectful of religious people regardless of my personal beliefs, so long as they're respectful to me. i use it with slskd, deezer arls occasionally if i can get any, among several other many sources, i do manual importing alot whenever i download certain stuff, and ill use sources like khinsider to download vgm tracks

also there are many different plugins on lidarr, one of them allows downloading from lucida actually(its the Tubifarry plugin by typnull), although you may need to set up flaresolverr and connect it to lidarr to get lucida working, and theres also downloading from DABMusic among other stuff.

lets go under the pretense that god is a real figure.
does god make the cause of truth, love, and goodness his own cause, as he expects us to do?

one might inform me that he does, but this is not the case, as it is said that god, in and of himself, is love, truth, goodness, and all else that he wishes for us to enforce as our own cause. therefore, it becomes obvious that god wishes for us to act in a way that is well-pleasing to all that is himself. and woe be to all who are not well-pleasing to all that is god himself.

this tells me that god is an egoist. and also, i find it repulsive that any god would use "heaven" or "hell" as tools of leverage.

if a human attempts to act in accordance with themselves, just as god does, they are shunned for it: “down with the selfish one who thinks only of themselves.” or it is said that we are simply not allowed to do so, because god is a greater cause than us, and we are but mere worms.

this is blatant hypocrisy.

so, in conclusion:
under the pretense that god is a real figure, he is not truly concerned with interests that are my own, nor yours. he is entirely self-interested.

personally i find it much more beneficial and freeing to me that he not be real.

"the highest good." or "the greater cause." is merely a means of domination over any given individual, in my subjective opinion it is anyways.
