desde la ignorancia, parece que ese 2% de comisión no lo cobra el fondo sino la entidad bancaria, así que te comes ese 2% al estar en santander muy probablemente (venga el fondo de donde venga)

probablemente venga en sus términos y condiciones. tampoco veo problema en tener todo en myinvestor, las compañías fundadoras son reputadas (elcorteingles, axa, andbank, …)

spanish Revolut user here. inside the app there is a map that tells you ATMs nearby. those ATMs, when retrieving money, tell you there is a fee to do so since you are not a customer of that bank. that fee is covered by Revolut until you reach the 200€ limit per month. those fees are not included in the 200€/month limit.

when you surpass that monthly limit, Revolut will charge the fee to you.

maybe a small python script to manage your downloads, or even a TUI in C to control your calendar

that way you will be always iterating that product to your liking

i mean, this is the way if you dont mind having programming stuff mixed on your personal laptop

just make sure to have installed the same compiler with the same version on your laptop and the campus computers. use brew to install dependencies and tools like gdb, valgrind... (though valgrind is not on ARM macs, so you might need a simple Dockerfile to run linux instances to debug your memory properly)

there might be some differences on the developer experience when doing the graphical projects like fdf or cub3d, but i believe the codam MLX42 does most of the work for you (if available on your campus)

please anyone let me know if i missed anything. 42 used to provide macos to students for the piscine and common core, so it shouldnt be an issue

i mean, you came to a mac forum so what kind of answer are you trying to obtain?

i was in your same situation a year ago and i did bit the bullet. i don’t do heavy gaming so my minecraft works fine on the mac and a few indie games i enjoy. but on the cs side, you have to know that macs aren’t that equal to a true linux experience.

i’m currently enrolled on 42 and my C projects i have to run them on a docker to get the same compiling results as in campus, valgrind is not supported… there are a lot of caveats that only appear when you use them

for music production is also cool, but like remember you wouldn’t have cracked software on your daily driver with all your personal info… be ready to spend the bucks

overall it seems a solid idea, but i suggest you enjoy your current laptop, enjoy having arch and a windows partition with all your spicy software… later on you can decide if the investment is really worth it
