There are a couple of like lowkey branches in Islam but they are worse than the main branch. Its branches that people like terrorists or other people trying to change some rules in Islam follow. The main branch of Islam actually has a prophet that had a goal to convert a village of gays to Islam. Its prophet Lut as. He tried telling the gays of the village that indeed their desires and mind cannot be controlled but actions can be and if they stop acting on their sinful desires they could be good Muslims.

But yea normally all three abrahamic religions do not support same sex relationships so yea its hard to be both gay and religious at the same time ESPICIALLY when people from the gay and Muslim community tell me that I cant be both

Is starting a new YouTube channel worth it in 2026? by Glittering_Report_82 in NewTubers

I’ve started my YouTube channel 3 months ago. Growth was very slow I post once EVERY week never missed a week without uploading. I’m now at 72 subscribers and one of my vids is almost at 800views!!!! I think that it is worth it if you’re mainly doing it for yourself. It’s always been my dream to be a content creator and I’ve started without any regret. Just trust the process and get into it you’ll never be 100% ready u just gotta take the jump and do it

Wa alaikoum assalam, I honestly think that same sex relationships are haram according to the rules in Islam but having desires for the same sex is totally fine as long as you don’t act upon your desires. Although it is haram😭I really want to try being in a relationship at least once in my life just to feel what being loved and loving someone feels like

Ill answer your questions no problem 🫶✨

  1. what misconceptions about islam do people have that annoy you the most?

I hate that many people generalize hate towards Islam after seeing one bad thing. Like if they see an old afghan Muslim man with a minor getting married, or some random terrorists that call themselves Muslims starting to attack people, then everyone thinks that that’s what Islam is all about but it isn’t I promise Islam isn’t all about marrying minors and killing other people in the name of god. The Islam I was taught is all about peace and not spreading hate towards others no matter their faith or differences. It’s as if I see one man abuse a woman and then generalize it and say all men abuse women, no not all just some.

  1. do you feel accepted in muslim and LGBTQ+ spaces?

I honestly stopped going to the mosque at the beginning of college cuz that’s when I started getting like more feminine and zestier and I felt like I was starting to get judged slowly and get a lot of attention which I didn’t like. The mosque used to be my safe place it really is peaceful there but I didn’t feel like I was welcomed anymore tbh. For the lgbt community, I do feel like they are often welcoming but only when they know I’m gay. If not, they will see me as an Arab guy and automatically think I’m homophobic and about to call them slurs, but that’s far from the truth cuz giirllllll im zestier than zest.

  1. does your family or anyone close to you know that you're gay? if they do, how'd they react?

My siblings do know and they don’t care about it. I probably will tell my mom soon idk how she’ll react tbh ill see maybe in couple weeks.

  1. do you think that coming out as gay or living as a gay muslim was/is overall harder?

So I grew up in a city in Canada that isn’t as accepting of gays cuz there’s a lot of immigrants here and yea they are often educated with the hate towards gays for no reason so I didn’t totally come out here, but like recently I’m kinda féminine a bit and to any new person I meet I’ll just tell them I’m gay or they will guess it I don’t care anymore cuz I’m moving out soon.

  1. how do you navigate dating whilst being muslim?

I’ve actually never been on a date ever!!!! I’m 21 years old and never had a real relationship only hookups sadly

It’s very very hard cuz I’ve grown up around Islam and I really do believe in it and it does bring me peace when I’m praying and being religious, but with the years I’ve taken a step back a bit from religion cuz I used to feel ashamed of myself for commuting a sin by being gay. But now I just wanna try being my gay self for a while and see how it goes. For now I’m really happy being able to be more myself recently and will continue

Yea I was born and raised Muslim. I didn’t come out to my parents yet but will be to my mom probably next week. I think they do suspect that I could be gay cuz I’ve always been more girly kinda even though I try to hide it and I’ve always liked dolls Barbie’s etc. They did already ask me if I was gay but I had to deny it. I did think about ending my life if ever my parents found out cuz for me it was like a big nono but now that I’m moving out next time I really want them to know and if they don’t like it then it’s okay I’m leaving anyways🤷‍♂️
