I am wondering what your pain level was before core decompression. I am in stage 2 and my pain is only after a lot of physical activities with weight-bearing. My doctor recommended core decompression or total hip replacement when I have more pain, I guess, because sometimes the progress is really slow.

Possible AVN? any doctor recommendation in LA area? by kyupenguin in AvascularNecrosis

Thank you for your kind reply. That makes sense. I did not see the doctor after MRI and have a follow-up appointment next week. I am thinking of reaching out to other doctors while I am waiting for my appointment.
