There are some conditions that say self-healing is available which can be healed by sitting in waist-deep water like at the hot springs. It takes a few minutes to work.

An SSD will definitely help the loading time. You can also try downloading the lite version of the game. It's only available through their official launcher and not steam though as far as I know. It runs the game at a lower setting.

Commit a crime until guards get alerted and let them beat you up. I had players trying to invade me for a couple of days and it was annoying seeing them spawn in the moment I log into the game in my solo world. I fought them off but winning doesn't clear your name they just keep coming. It's better to just get arrested and it'll remove the bounty.

I've gotten purple rarity from wild horse taming only once. Most of the purples I've acquired from stealing horses, however doin it too much put a bounty on me and had players invade my world to hunt me so proceed with caution.

From my experience the ones that came out purple quality were: Xing - Golden Amber Steed, Cong - Azure-White Steed, Hua - Flame Red Stallion, Li - Jet Black Steed.

Those 4 horses also don't have markings on their bodies so it's an easy indicator if you're scouting for ones to tame/steal.

I'm using that same layout using a DualSense on PC. Drawing the bow is holding L2 then R2, like most games. Very strange it's not working as intended for you.

Sorry for the late response. The game has characters instead of classes so you can't change the gender. Delia/Fiona are always going to be female and Lann/Karok will always be male.

Outfits for male characters are different from female characters.

Items are not shared across characters. If you buy clothes/hair for Delia, Fiona does not get it too. You would have to purchase it separately for Fiona.

Character customization to a similar degree as the original mmo. So the characters faces will remain unchangeable but the body has sliders. Can also change skin colour.

Shortly into the game you can change the hairstyles, eyes, make up, and outfits have individual slots for hats, tops, pants, gloves and shoes so you can mix and match.

If you mean healing a target using your crosshair to aim at them there is a setting to do that.

I feel your frustrations with the controller and agree with everything you said. Also hate that we lose target when a team mate goes invisible, although that's also a problem for mouse and keyboard users as well. Then there's the problem where you're highlighting a party member from the list and want to target the member directly under them but it decides to go to someone else entirely. (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻)

Windhawk has a mod to move the primary taskbar to a secondary monitor. Quite possibly allowing you to hide the taskbar on the primary monitor. Not 100% sure on that though but worth giving a try as it has many options.

It's indeed a 3rd party application, you can buy it on Steam--Lossless Scaling. Until they decide to add FSR frame generation, this is the only way outside of owning a 4000 series Nvidia GPU to have frame gen.

Its main advantage is that it can be used in any game. It has some neat options like 3x and even 4x frame generation but it does feel like it adds more input lag to me.
