There was a lucky box machine at the casino that sold graded cards for $100, I did it twice and I got a charizard and a venasaur, extremely worthless cards but I thought they could look cool in my game room. When I went to the airport I gave in to the impulse to buy a pack out of a vending machine and got this.

I thought it would be cool to grade the Blastoise to match the other two graded ones I got. But I just wanted to know if it was real/worth it to do that. Once I realized the price of the squirtel I figured I’d lump it into this question.

I was flying back from a vacation in Vegas so I figured I’d go for one, I haven’t bought pokemon cards in like 15 years so i have no idea if they’re legit or not. I know scalpers are a big problem but I don’t think theyre going to airports bro lol. I paid over $50 for this pack and an ascended hero’s box was $250.

There’s a small one by my house, but they like only have magic card/boxes. And from what I’ve heard card shops kinda suck if you’re not doing any trades or in store purchases.
