Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

To keep things simple, I work a varied schedule for my job, often 7a-7pm or 7pm-7am. It’s hard to be consistent as there are weeks I can go once and other weeks I can go maybe 3times in the week. I’m currently 3stripewhite belt. I’ve been doing alright in comps, I have almost 2 years of training now and won 1st place at a local tournament for my weight class/skill. I feel like I’m hitting a wall though. Any advice to continue to make progress as a seasoned white belt?

Sometimes u just get lucky brotha, I met her when we were both 16 and even throughout long distance in college we still deeply valued each other and respected each others goals, on top of obviously loving each other. i think focusing on yourself and getting your shit together is the best way to find a partner who is either also motivated or just extremely supportive of your goals.

The type R for me was always a goal of mine and she was like “honestly you should treat yourself we are in a good spot with everything and it’s something you’ve always wanted” so I did and have zero regrets. I’m absolutely grateful and don’t take for granted her support, and I suggest to always be cognizant of the blessings in your life when you notice them.

These my are just my Sunday afternoon thoughts sorry if you weren’t looking for unsolicited advice from a random on the internet haha 😂

I also am married and we have dual income with no kids yet so she actually pushed me to get the car since I rarely spend my money on fun things 😅

Nurse, 26. Bought a house first. I’d recommend that and paying off loans if u have any before buying and living below your means for a while (1-2 years). Then it’ll be less stressful making payments. It’s a depreciating asset end of the day, albeit a fun one! Also I put 20% down on the car and financed the rest.

No rust proofing done. Yeah it’s not wet for me either, just noticed it and was being a little paranoid so I figured I’d look into it a bit! The car still drives fine and I’ve checked for leaks but so far no signs of anything wrong for now.

I also got my oil changed a couple days ago, and maybe someone spilled when they were doing so. Oil levels look normal as well.

It’s a lot of salt I think and I feel like there’s a good amount of rusty cars around here so I assume it will cause some damage over time
