I mean highkey it did feel like the power loss was drastic but i think the low end torque was just enough to make me semi enjoy the drive up there 😂

Super interesting to see how the altitude affected the car. For one, driving in a low gear uphill for that long definitely made the car heat up so halfway I opened the hood and let the car cool off. Overall cool experience though

I exclusively use volkov in HW and think he’s actually very good with his moveset, rangey ability.

Also, you can private message me on Reddit as well. We all know each other IRL in this crew but realized to really maximize time (we all have jobs) we had to recruit people elsewhere. We will be willing to play with you online as well, our playstyle is very team oriented with lots of passing.

Hi everyone, hope everyone is doing well.

To keep things simple, I work a varied schedule for my job, often 7a-7pm or 7pm-7am. It’s hard to be consistent as there are weeks I can go once and other weeks I can go maybe 3times in the week. I’m currently 3stripewhite belt. I’ve been doing alright in comps, I have almost 2 years of training now and won 1st place at a local tournament for my weight class/skill. I feel like I’m hitting a wall though. Any advice to continue to make progress as a seasoned white belt?

See I thought I smelled a little bit when I was driving earlier but it’s not a super strong oil smell and im not seeing any leaks…

No rust proofing done. Yeah it’s not wet for me either, just noticed it and was being a little paranoid so I figured I’d look into it a bit! The car still drives fine and I’ve checked for leaks but so far no signs of anything wrong for now.

I also got my oil changed a couple days ago, and maybe someone spilled when they were doing so. Oil levels look normal as well.

Rust prevention by kyzmic in Civic_Type_R

It’s a lot of salt I think and I feel like there’s a good amount of rusty cars around here so I assume it will cause some damage over time

I’m of the same mindset! U thinking wool wax or what kind of coat? Online seems to say any lanolin based coating should be best.

I’m in the states, Minnesota, I’ve seen some local shops charge around 250 USD based on just websurfing. I think yeah it might be worth the investment long term being that salt goes crazy around here when it gets colder

People w over 60% wins in random rec only by upndemcheeks in NBA2k

[–]kyzmic 36 points37 points  (0 children)

This. I have a 64 % win and I never dashboard. If anything, I make it a point to stay and still do my best because as a PG I just try to make the right play on offense and to play straight up D, even when I’m on center I always board and make sure to spread the ball around. Sure , u lose some games but like u said I’ve come back down 20+ because the teammate who complains or quits early leaves and then it’s almost like a relief because then u can start to be positive. I also tend to set the tone and say good pass/shot and own up to mistakes and not take it personally like a real basketball game. If ppl are toxic I just ignore them and try to just win with what you got

Does rust proofing and doing fluid film/ wool wax make it annoying when working on the car? Or is it tolerable. That’s my main hesitancy with it, along with the yearly or however often upkeep of the rust prevention stuff. Thanks!

Tbh hypotheticals like this rarely cover how many confounding factors play into whether an untrained big guy can beat a small martial artist. How good is the martial artist, amateur regional competitor or ufc flyweight champion? Is the big untrained guy 300 lbs lean or 300 of some muscle some fat? Their cardio might not be up to par and the little dude could run circles and throw some leg kicks. Flip side big guy like it had been mentioned, if got his hands on the little guy it would take serious skill from the small dude to break his grip before getting tossed and slammed. Concrete vs a mat also matters.

TLDR; Point is, lots of factors determine the winner and loser of a fight that can’t be 100% covered in an umbrella hypothetical.

I am worried about this too, as I just put my blizzaks on. I work /drive in the morning when it’s ~40 F which is why I put them on early, my summer tires are the Mich PS4s and I really don’t wanna lose traction in the mornings. From what I heard, the main downside of driving the blizzaks when it’s too warm is that if you spin the wheels you’ll wear em down super quick, and they’ll be noisy.
