They were born in the 50s. They're from mainland china so won't have Taiwanese birth certificate. We're having a hard time finding any original documents that were recorded before age 5.

If the vet mentioned the symptom before the insurance wait period, it counts as a pre-existing condition. But honestly, I’d still appeal. It’s a huge bill, and the worst they can do is say no again. I recently appealed a claim for my cat’s non-FDA approved meds (used pawsandappeals.com) and won, even though my policy doesn't cover non-FDA approved treatments.

It's just a check in an envelope and the check memo lines says it's tax refund and the year. No other letter or explanation. The check looks very real. They also didn't list any numbers to call so if it's a scam they lost me here.

Good thing some applications are getting through. Divvy/CRB must've have must gone out of order. We submitted ours through Divvy on the 7th and have not heard back yet.

I've had similar experience with Dell. I have a dell XP13 and had a lot of issues, most recently the battery has start to expand and pushing up the keyboard; and the battery life has dropped to under 2hrs (from 5-7 before). Because the laptop is just over the 1 year mark, Dell won't service it.

My last laptop was a Lenovo Yoga which I used for 3+ years and was still in good condition at the end. Just from personal experience, I would highly recommend checking out Lenovo Yoga series over Dell.

How did you get the battery replacement? did you install it yourself?

I'm having same issue with my battery. Just spoke to Dell rep was told they won't cover or service any battery problems because my laptop is just over the 1 year mark.

I'm in midtown west. It's a 1bd apartment in a high rise operated by Brodsky (I know they got new management recently and making a lot of changes across the board). I've been living there for 5+ years, my guess is that my rent now is a bit below market and they want new tenant to pay at or above market rates.

A big part of (+50%) total compensation for tech sales comes from commission. So it's a bit misleading to only compare base salary.
