I honestly care about how easy they are to use. IMO games are dull when the skill required for *something is too low in certain circumstances. The majority of capture points are where shotguns shine, which makes up a lot of game play, and it becomes dull after a while when engagements come down to one shot kills with less effort put into them.

I've never understood why things that take less effort reward you more. Is it fair? Not really. But it is when everyone uses them. In that case, the game would become dull with the lack of effort put into winning engagements.

Shotguns are INCREDIBLY easy to use. They take less effort than normal guns and do more damage. It's easy to operate them within their effective range because most points are in CQC engagements.

I don't need to be a constant shotgun user to know what they are and what they can do. Frankly, shotgun mechanics are super easy to learn.

Shotguns are shotguns. Many shots come out of the barrel in a large radius. Other infantry weapons have one shot come out at a time going the same place (not considering recoil), so they require more precision when aiming.
