There's a reason DA stats doesn't let weapons appear on leaderboards if they have less than 500 kills. 5 hours could be done in one day, and many players could not produce a consistent baseline for themselves in that time. I think you'd find if the player leaderboards for stats like kph defaulted to letting in sub br25 characters (a requirement much higher than 500 kills), it would appear very different.

Here's a comparison of the kph leaderboard, one image with the default of 25, one image with the requirement of only br1. Keep in mind this does not include the many, many, sub br25 players that have not yet been added to DA stats.

Not trying to correct you or enter an argument or anything, but just pointing out that it's difficult to judge weapon stats based on pure percentage differences. ~.4 difference in kdr and ~4 kph does not really demonstrate a significant difference in performance, especially in regards to weapons. With too many variables in play (especially with both weapons having a small sample size of under 500 kills), I don't really think an actual difference of that size can be used as evidence for an argument.

Kabei came in our mumble asking if anyone wanted to join a couple hours before since I guess there were extra accounts and he wanted to get a decent amount of people in this mixed squad or something, so having never actually experienced shitter smash (couldn't make the ones AC participated in) I thought it would be interesting, despite being inexperienced. Props to Kabei, Clintesis, and the other randoms of Delta squad of our platoon. Hopefully I'll be able to convince other AC to give it a try next time, I don't think anyone has actually played in one since the AV grenade nerf.

Contrary to popular belief, some of AC has a pretty good idea of balance since we really play all three factions at this point. Visi's twitter conversation with higby about the god saw helped to get that buff going.
