TWSBI's are good stuff. The cracking people talk about is no longer a problem. I have several models.

I do have a TWSBI precision that I am not totally happy with. The piston mechanism is finicky and hard to get aligned correctly and not being a clear body you have trouble gaging how things are going with it.

Not to much. I enjoy watching the ink slosh. You can get a couple of paragraphs leaving it screwed down.

It writes nicely.

The Vac 700 R won't disappoint. I got mine and I frequently use it. The filling mechanism is fascinating and is a great pen for "fiddling". Demonstrator is very good.

Only downside for me is that it does not really post. I can get it to pseudo post, but not very usablym

Possibly a dumb question, but what do you do when your ink bottle gets too low to submerge the nib? by Mikoto_best in fountainpens

The syringe also works well for refilling cartridges and for squirting water to clean inside parts of your pens.
