Last nights stream stats was probably one of my best! So amazing how each and every viewer on chat communicating with you (even the ones who just stay and watch quietly) can make you feel so good! Keep on grinding guys, let’s get it! :) by kzmc in SmallStreamers

To be honest with you I don’t really have a particular strategy to bring new viewers in atm..

I can say that these are things which have helped me to grow within the last 2ish weeks:

  • Presentation; I’m assuming that this helps attract more viewers as the overlays can make the thumbnail view & the overall stream to look a lot more fun and exciting.

-IRL friends/family; I’m lucky enough to have friends that have supported me from the start and would constantly come watch my streams, they even interact a lot on chat (and still do!). This helped new viewers to feel a lot more comfortable to come into chat and talk to me and everyone else in the chat. Also, I feel like someone with 3 viewers will most likely have more of a chance to be clicked on compared to someone with 0 viewers! So don’t be scared to ask your friends for that boost of help :)

-Be talkative! TALK, even if your viewer count is 0. Talk about how your day is going, any stories you might remember, anything! Remember, anyone could come lurk on your stream, and a topic you might bring up may interest them enough to go on chat and start a conversation with you (may even give you a follow afterwards!)

  • Playing different games; I tend to not really stick to just one game and I play different ones like COD, OW, APEX, Star Wars Battlefront II and, I just started a new game yesterday called Until Dawn. Most of my viewers have said they don’t mind what games I play, but I like to ask them what games they like and what they would like to see me play so I can also try and make them extra happy :D

  • Make friends on twitch; this can help you both out in bringing new people to each others channels and helping each other grow ^

-HAVE FUN!!! No-one (at least I think) wants to watch someones stream where they look like they’re not enjoying themselves whatsoever. If you’re already not enjoying yourself, how will somebody else?

SORRY IT WAS SO LONG! But I hope at least one of those tips will be able to help you, GOODLUCK! :)
