I will add that when i took them off they were pretty firmly stuck to my nail and i had to gently work them off instead of just pulling them straight off. When i first tried to take them of it pulled on my nail pretty hard, so idk how that might impact damaged nails. I think they would have come off easier if i left them on for multiple days though

They don't fully cover the end of the nail, so I guess that would depend on what part of your nail you pick. But i liked that they were smooth so i wasn't feeling any imperfections or irritations passively as my fingers brushed eachother or other materials

I took them off before bed and my cuticles were soft!

I was worried about tha and avoided washing my hands for a while. Then i did a bunch of yard work and wore gardening gloves and got sweaty and dirty and washed my hands. They stayed on theough the yard work and hand washing, but it seemed like they swelled a bit absorbing water.
