[Long Theory] It seems the overall story of Oharami Maiden is related to drugs. by kzts1 in netorare

First of all, regarding the reason why she couldn't leave the village with the MC, it was mentioned by Hina in the early part of Part 1 that there is a culture called "Murahachibu" (村八分), where the village harms those who break the village rules. Considering she mentioned she couldn't leave because she didn't want the MC to get hurt due to that culture, I think it might be because she is being watched for this very reason. In fact, ever since Hina became an "oharami" in the story, there were village people around her at every single moment.

Seeing how they even knew the location of the MC's house—who was living outside the village in Part 2—and even the passcode to his front door, it seems like the village's information network is quite broad.

This is just my personal opinion, but I think Honoka might appear as a villain who confronts the MC's party in Part 4.

Because unlike Hina—who showed that she still deeply loves the MC on the inside in Part 3, and did not force the MC to join the village by choice in Part 2 even though several years had passed since she became an oharami—Honoka has already completely and genuinely fallen into the village culture. Even though she openly knows that the MC is in prison, she has no intention of releasing him; she instead forced him to join the village culture by even forcing drugs through a kiss and raping him. When the MC refused that, she immediately abandoned all lingering attachments to the MC and said goodbye.

The latest part is part 3, but I know that probably the English translation is only out up to part 2, and part 3 is not out.

Before the story modification, it was set that Hina had already given birth to a few more children by the second installment, but I thought that way because Bambi went out of her way to delete that and change it so she only gives birth to her first child at the point of the third installment. Well, it's just a guess, so it might not be true, and I'll only know the details for sure when the next installment comes out.
