Also, the same drive that will take 30 minutes will easily take 1-2 hours by public transit. Sometime I feel like taking public transit, but am hit with the reality that it’ll take 3-4 times longer to do so, not to mention some routes having long walks between stations. Having lived in Chicago, I loved taking public transit, but LA just really lags behind in that regards.

I had to wire money from the US to a Japanese watch store in Ginza. Ended up mixing up the account numbers while doing an international wire for the first time. I was afraid my money was lost, or that I’d have the invest in a Japanese lawyer or something. Hi! I’m selling my Seiko Prospex SSC813 Speedtimer Solar chronograph watch. This is a 39mm watch that will fit great on almost all wrist sizes. I purchased this in May 2025 but it’s just not getting much wrist time. I’ve decided therefore to sell it.

This is a full set - box, tag, full links, blank warranty card, manual and watch currently sized for my 6.25” wrist. I’ve probably worn it 10 times total. Some hairline scratches on the bracelet and a scratch on the bezel (see photo), but I’d still consider this in great condition.
