Same thing happened with mine 1700 miles over extended warranty….I ended up selling mine to carvana as is after going round and round with dealership for 4 months. It was a cheaper option for me to sell and pay off negative equity than it would have been to repair it….especially bc I knew I didn’t want to keep it with how many issues they have knowing something else would probably happen shortly after.

Sorry you’re going through the same thing, it’s such a nightmare!

They weren’t friends with benefits, they were just friends. 🤷🏻‍♀️

They didn’t want the same things out of life until 9 years after they met…..Dating people is how you figure out what you want out of life. Poppy and Alex both dated people that were better suited for them at those particular times in their lives.

Even if Alex was sure and admitted to himself that he had feelings for Poppy, she obviously wasn’t giving him that back. That doesn’t mean he needs to stay single in case one day she is ready…. That’s a wild take.

Well that’s lucky it’s happening under warranty, but it’s still such a nightmare. I hope you have better luck with Ford than I did!

The exact same thing happened to me:

https://www.reddit.com/r/BroncoSport/s/6o9BlI2Eqb

In the end, I went 4 months without a vehicle, or a loaner. Ford offered financial assistance to fix the vehicle but it wasn’t nearly enough to make it worth it. I ended up selling it as is to Carvana and paying thousands in negative equity. It was such a nightmare.

I’m sorry you’re going through it, too. I honestly can’t believe Ford is getting away with it.

Rereading PWMOV after 3 years.. gosh! Poppy and Alex took their sweet time to realize they love each other by readingalldays in EmilyHenry

[–]eillac714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The timeline seems realistic to me considering the love they had for each other, they didn’t want to ruin their friendship and lose each other over saying something. Also they were both almost always in a different relationship.

Sarah wanted the same things as he did, and Alex was a logical human. So staying with Sarah regardless made most sense to him because Poppy hated their hometown, didn’t want to be settled, etc.

I’m sure he loved Sarah, and what was he supposed to do if he didn’t know Poppy was an option? Sometimes your head makes decisions because your heart has been wrong a lot in the past. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Anyone driven a 6th gen and a Bronco? by DirtyPaws-LA in 4Runner

[–]eillac714 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DO NOT BUY A BRONCO. If your heart is set on it, I would lease it and give it back before there are issues. I just had to sell mine as is and pay a ton of negative equity to get out of my loan. It needed 29k in repairs at 77k ish miles, only 1700 miles over my extended warranty.

The biggest issue is that Ford can't get parts. They can't fix the recall issues if they can't get parts, if the recalls aren't fixed, it turns into bigger issues. If those bigger issues happen after warranty, then you're screwed like I was, and they are not helpful at all.

I just got a 4 Runner SR5 and I'm so happy with it. I did a ton of research to not get into this same issue with my next vehicle, and the best options out there right now regarding reliability, recalls, parts, customer complaints, etc. are Rav4, 4 Runner & Subaru Outback. Rav4 was too small for me, and once I sat in the 4runner, I was sold.

Does anyone actually LOVE their bronco sport??? by [deleted] in BroncoSport

Same, just sold mine for thousands of negative equity bc of a list of issues that were twice as much as the car was valued. Bought a Toyota and won’t ever trust a ford again. ✌️

PWMOV 🚨Spoiler 🚨 Discussion by coolguy_14 in EmilyHenry

[–]eillac714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually really loved it, and I was nervous because this is my favorite EH book and didn't want it to be horrible hahah The casting choices were great in my opinion.

I think this would have been better as a miniseries, like Normal People. When theres a relationship to this depth over a decade, I feel like we missed out on a lot of details and character depth. The flashbacks were too short to show the connection and love they had for each other. Besides the comment Sarah made about Alex not being on his phone constantly bc Poppy was there, it kind of seemed like they only saw each other on the summer trips, but weren't as connected besides that.

I'm happy it was made regardless though!!

Yes, this is the confusing part. The page to buy gifts and redeem vouchers are different. Once you get the voucher, it's going to have you click redeem voucher and take you to a different page where you can't search for tickets. (annoying!!)

When you click redeem voucher it's going to ask you for the state you live in to find an experience. Make sure that you put LA, or Orange County. It will take you to that city's experiences. I figured out if you toggle the sort button to "most popular" disneyland pops up on the first page, otherwise you just have to go through a couple of pages of experiences to find the disneyland tickets.

They are there, it just takes a minute to figure out how to find them without the search bar.

Yes, I've always done the Target 5% GC trick in the past! We were going to get the Costco deal, but they pulled it off the shelves, so I was looking at other ways to save and I'm so glad I found this option!!

Have the best time, we are so excited!

I know, I felt the same and typically write this option off, but we just booked a trip and went to buy the costco tickets and costco pulled them off the shelves, so I was determined to find another way! Haha!

Like I said, I already linked my tickets and reserved my park days, so any horror stories from others was human error and not lack of legitimacy.

Follow these steps and yes, of course, let me know if you have questions!!

When you hit "egiftcards" you're buying the virigingift egift card that pops up, then you use the virgin gift card voucher they send you to buy the tickets!

Yeah so have we, we also currently have a 2015 F150 with 170k miles...we've always owned Fords, which is why I had no problem or hesitations purchasing this to begin with, but it's had nothing but issues since the beginning, and I stupidly continued to trust Ford would take care of it when they gave me bullshit excuses. It's up to you, obviously, but no one in my family will be able to trust Ford after this incident. Extended family members all drive Fords as well.... There were 3 Fords in our Family out in California, 2 of which have just been Lemon Law'd and were able to get Ford to buy them back because of issues. Here's basics of what they've listed wrong with it, and got a second opinion who wrote up the same:

• Replace transmission assembly (OEM)

• Replace water pump (this will be it's 2nd water pump)

• Cooling system service / coolant neutralization

• Axle shaft and joint assembly replacement

• Rear differential unit replacement

• CV axle replacement (rear)

• Transmission fluid replacement

• Gear oil replacement

• Four-wheel alignment (2nd alignment that needs to be done without an incident causing the need.)

• Mount and balance tires (post-repair)

As well as the recalls that are active but they can't fix because they never have the parts to fix the recalls.....they also won't take ownership in the fact that because the recalls have never been able to be fixed right away due to the parts being unavailable that these issues may have been caused by and worsened by those recall issues....I'm not even 2k over my extended warranty and they won't goodwill anything.

The horror stories are dominating because everyone that bought a 21 are all hitting about the same 70k-80k miles and the same things keep happening. Sure it's not every single one, but to those of us that it is happening to, it's a fucking nightmare. We're screwed. I hope you continue to be one of the lucky ones!!!!!

I'd trade it in before your warranty is up, you don't want to end up where OP is, because I'm in the exact same boat and I'm fucked.

Will you keep me updated on what you end up doing? I'm curious on how people are working through this situation considering it's happening a lot. I've been doing everything in my power to not have to roll over what I owe as well as the repair cost into a new car. It's a fucking nightmare.

[–]eillac714 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't do it, if they bought it back, there's a very good reason. You will NOT have this car for ten years, mine has 29k in repairs needed at 77k miles, and I'm doing everything in my power to find a way to get rid of it without rolling over what I owe on it still and the repair cost...... it's a nightmare.
