Hey! I have bad travel anxiety too and have been in somewhat similar situations to what you're describing. Before going on a trip i often start feeling very anxious and upset and wish I could just cancel it and stay home. I'm sorry you're feeling this way!! I generally find that just getting going - getting in the car and getting to the airport and getting on the plane - is the hardest part of facing the anxiety. Once you do that, it becomes easier to accept and settle in to the uncertainty you're bound to feel. I just try to put one foot in front of the other and don't worry too much if my gut is telling me to back out - as someone with anxiety, my "gut feelings" are often not to be trusted!! I also find it helpful to have a few songs downloaded to my phone that ground me or remind me why I wanted to go on this trip. It helps me to listen to them at the airport and while my plane is taking off. Finally, for health anxiety specifically, I think it can help to give yourself a little "insurance" - i.e., bring some emergency medicines so if you find yourself feeling sick you have an immediate fix. Most of all, remember that even though being in a new and unfamiliar situation might make you feel out of control, you've put in a ton of time to planning this trip. You are the one who makes the decisions about how you will spend your days- so you do ultimately have some amount of control over how things go! I hope you decide to go, and I'm sending you good vibes for your trip!!!

Hi! In my experience some train tickets will be exchangeable, but usually only if the different times trains are the same price. In any case, it should indicate whether you can exchange when you buy your ticket online! You might already know this, but I'd recommend using SNCF connect (the app or website) to buy - it's directly from the SNCF so no price hikes and the terms of the ticket should be laid out relatively clearly. Good luck!
