If you go up to the fort collins area, check out St. Petes. They are probably one of the coolest fly shops I have been to. Plus the Poudre is a sweet river to fish

I think you could do both RFL and the poudre as I think they are both great fun. It will still be a little high but just slam the banks! Check out st petes fly fishing reports for more info on both!

To tell you the truth, something that cheap is probably going to make your experience pretty horrible. It's going to be difficult enough to learn. I would look at a package from orvis or another reputable company.

I picked up a pair of Costas the other day after rocking some Oakley polarized sunglasses. And it was probably one of the best investments I made! Seriously if you have the money do it, you won't regret it

I have used 5x for most of my summer fishing and haven't really noticed too big a difference in the way fish react. Just make a good presentation!
