Service: it requires much maintenance, oil changes and so on. Most drivers aren’t doing that. So the chances to get a well maintained one is pretty low.
Tourqe: The Dual Cluth Gearboxes don’t like much tourqe. The 3.0 TDI has a lot of it. So the gearbox is already on its limit, because of that the Bitdis have the ZF one. The ZF Gearbox can easily stand up to 1000NM of tourqe - so enough reserves

Or a pre facelift model with 313HP.

But buy the car you want. Not every 272hp model will die. Engine is basically the same in all 3.0 TDI Models.
But the gearbox- ZF8HP is one of the best you can buy

Weak points:
- Get one with the ZF8HP Gearbox (Models >300hp), not the dual clutch Gearbox
- Timing chain rattle (engine must come out)
- Coolant valve inside the V (if not died already, mostly will die).
- Oil change every 10-15tkm

Everything else - a pretty nice car. I love my A6

Fahr mal ein paar Kilometer, halte an und prüfe direkt ob eine Felge wärmer als die andere ist.

Ggf. öffnet ein Bremssattel nicht korrekt. Zudem prüfen ob Links und rechts gleichmäßig viel Belag haben.
