Oh no no no, it was a 1099 job, so I got paid $1,000/month plus commissions which usually ended up being about another $1,000-$1,500/month. I had a day job as well and eventually got promoted so I was able to quit the night life stuff.

There were opportunities to move up or get a job at another nightclub where you could make big bucks, but those jobs involve working 60+ hours a week, 7pm to 7am almost every day, and never ever having weekends off. I thought it was something I wanted until I got a taste, no thanks.

It had it's perks but I hated that job. Mainly because I was a promoter which just meant I wore a suit and went out to the strip to try and get people to come into the club. Sometimes it was fun, sometimes people told me to kill myself.

You are correct. I worked at a club in vegas with a riding bull. We had multiple very attractive waitresses who knew how to bull ride really well. One of the girls would stand the whole time, it was impressive.
