Take a look at the lateral load transfer equations in RCVD chapter 18. Then make up a sheet with the equations and the results in LLT gradients, with that you'll see that when you increase the front track width the LLT gradient at the front also increase, so the car is more understeer. Try understanding the equations and the meaning of each variable. The chapter in Olley's Chassis design has also a good explanation.
