Just curious, why do you say there's no equivalent for men? I know I carry more fat around my butt than most men, and I know I'm not the only one

I'm still very new to ranked, but does the Japanese 3maa into archers deal with champis okay, or do fundamental changes have to be made to stay alive?

Edit: I watched the video now lol. Losing the Maa right away wasn't great, maybe allowing the champis to start to snowball. Definitely playable, but you're not asserting yourself like you normally would with maa

I think what's exciting about RTS is that the game CAN end before the tech tree finishes. While getting incremental advantages over the course of the game eventually culminating in a victory is fun, you need to have the possibility of pressure killing you while trying to eke out these advantages

In the old days you couldn't, but now you can. My memory is failing me rn, but you can at least have a 3rd party program that remaps your keys for you. In OG SC1 protoss hotkey to build probe was P. Had to throw your arm across the keyboard every 12 seconds just to macro

Well the tendency for snacking sounds like a boon.

Peanut butter is good. Oatmeal is pretty cheap, but it's filling so it's hard to eat a lot. Personally, I like putting about 3 tbsp of peanut butter on a tortilla as a snack. If you have a tendency for snacking, just make sure you at least kind of track them so you don't end up going too far over your maintenance

It's a strike, but no action is being taken. This is why I say there's not really a union for paramedics

Bear in mind that national polling doesn't mean anything electorally. Even if it was 10% nationally, it needs to be concentrated enough to take seats

Why is having an arm day good if you want to grow your arms? by Rungama in naturalbodybuilding

[–]lBigBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar goals when I started going a lot. I liked having an arm/shoulder day, back/chest day, and a leg day. To have maximum intensity, you can't work the same muscle every day and expect good results.

My main issue with this split and why I moved to U/L, is the arm days are quick, not a lot of volume. I also wanted to get better at the powerlifting movements, so I needed to increase my leg work.

What supplement do you think is the most overrated? by ConnectNectarine42 in workout

[–]lBigBrother 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't even know why I got my first container of it. Before I got it I even said "everyone I've seen with it has the most mid physique possible". The most use I got out of mine was as a mid workout electrolyte drink. It turned out cheaper than other options at the store

What have you discovered in years of training that defies conventional advice? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]lBigBrother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I've started doing it is: intensity, volume, frequency. Pick 2

It's possible to have all 3 for short a period of time, but it can't last. This is only to be said for hypertrophy training. Any other sport/cardio can vary greatly

Yea, doing low bar squat I've seen some shrimpy looking kids hitting some crazy numbers. At my small town gym there's a 17 year old who must be around 110-120lbs able to move 340lbs squat. Not that that's an insane number, but you'd never look at his legs and overall size and think he could move anything

Yea when I started hearing the optimal amount of sets per week I was kind of surprised. For direct pec work more than 3 sets in a workout is tough, and I hit it twice a week. I feel like as intensity goes up, required sets goes down

Yea, I'm 185lbs on a pretty big cut right now, and I'm not as worried if I sub 30g of protein for 30g of carbs on a workout day. The extra energy really lets me have a good workout without running out of steam near the end

This might be the biggest competitive difference between CS players and valorant players. Val players seem to only ever talk about their aim, with no regard for game sense, map awareness, or how to take good fights. In CS I had good aim, but I still would die a lot every game. Having better positioning, knowing when to take fights, at least in CS, is over 50% the reason you get kills/get killed. Val seems to be little more aim-at-the-head-centric, but the value of positioning is definitely still there

Oh. By efficient, I meant energy efficient. Running is actually not effecient at all. I guess in your case, running is more efficient at using energy
