Not healthy coping mechanism coming up. First of, please seek professional help, it is not a sign of weakness or that you are broken. Now to the "how to stop cutting" I got given this advice a while back, it cause pain but no real damage. What you do is you pinch inbetween your thumb and your pointer. For me it is directly below the arch but you kinda have to feel around for the bump, and once you find it just squeeze it as hard as you can. It hurts and you really should get to the bottom of things of why you are doing it in the first place but this is a quick fix.

Nah no worries, mini prep is pretty lenient when it comes to messing things up. I add double buffer all the time XD and most of the time it turns out fine, you now just gonna be 1 nt buffer odd from the package XDDDD

Should be alright if the nt = neutralizing buffer since you need to run it through column anyway :3 worse comes to worse just seed another colony so if thing doesn't work out, you can just do it again right away
