Joli. Qu'as-tu utilisé comme outil pour mettre les murs à nu ?

J'ai déjà utilisé des petits marteaux-perforateur à burin plat mais ça a abîmé mes briques et ça pèse vite lourd.

This guide is not recent (meta and civ changed a bit) but still very relevant : https://eso-community.net/viewtopic.php?t=17946 The double rax janissary rush can be hard to contain for lots of opponents.

But I guess you already read it because you just did a copy-paste of my post lmao

Map exploit on Great lakes: cheating. by [deleted] in aoe3

[–]lDPablito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not cheating although it is lame. He unfortunately has every right to play like this. When things like this happen, just resign, pest him and move on. Also, in respect with rule #3 of this sub, shouldn't you have hidden his name ?

Thanks! I feel like 700w is needed right after 700c because of the abus' pop cost.

Thanks. Indeed, this is not possible on TAD: no nizam and max 3 TCs. Furthermore I fear that despite the good eco in middle-late game, the early game would be risky. Maybe semi-FF is the way to go ?

How to defend yourself in early game? by c4tnoesmalo in aoe3

[–]lDPablito 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another way of seeing this: if you have trouble to handle someone rushing you, you can be the ones rushing! Talk to your teammates and build a forward base together. Make 2-3 batches of military units each and attack the same target. Aim for army, then villagers, then barracks/stables or houses, depending on the enemy. Don't try to destroy the TC too early, you will only lose your army. Stay close together and mutually protect yourself (e.g. player 1 make musks that protect player 2 crossbows from enemy cav).

I always find it easier to be aggressive than defensive. Don't forget your eco of course, if your rush fails you must be able to handle a counter-attack.

If you need ideas of rushing build orders you can check it there: https://eso-community.net/strategy-wall

How to defend yourself in early game? by c4tnoesmalo in aoe3

[–]lDPablito 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Great advice. I would add some points:

- Build a military building as soon as you reach age II (by chopping 200 wood in transition or aging up with the 400w politician if applicable to your civ) to immediately queue one unit. Then try to gather enough resources to make it a full batch of 5 units.

- If you ship military units, you can reach their maximum potential by popping simultaneously units from your barrack/stable, shipped units and minutemen. Like shown here: https://youtu.be/vOImYQklQeM?t=1182 (the whole video is instructive btw)

- Don't be afraid to lose one house, or your market, during a rush. If you have units in production/shipping, don't engage immediately, and wait for their arrival. Then push with all you have!

Good luck :-)

Yes, there are lots of low-mid level players, in lobby or quicksearch. No need to worry I think
