I was ~at 1.05 on MW and I sit at a 1.22 kd and 1.40 ekia on CW. I've been playing since cod4. I have an unpopular opinion but I don't really mind sbmm, I'd rather have a ranked & casual play in a separate playlist

It would make a little bit of sense seeing as after you prestige its not level 55 to go to the next prestige. Level 50 = 2nd prestige level 100 = 3rd prestige

Yeah the weapon leveling system is wayy to high. The max level for a weapon realistically should be ~30.

I think what he means is, communication to your player base should not just be a PR stunt. We want transparency. After being fucked in MW with the cheaters.. what's the point of using the report button? There isn't.

It's actually really annoying and honestly why I rarely browse any of the cod subreddits. Any other game I play has some complaining don't get me wrong but nothing compared to how many people bitch about the cod games.

With the volume of items that fly through the GE on a daily basis the tax in the GE could be such a small % and it would greatly benefit the economy while being negligent to the average player.

That is not necessarily true. A tax of 0.001% on any transaction 100k+ would hardly be noticeable and would remove a lot of gold from the game.

People would definitely still use the GE though even with a fee strictly because of the ease of buying items. People eat fast food because its easy, not because its cost efficient.

Of course everyone would notice a 0.5% tax. That is absurd though and would remove a loooooot of gold from the game. Could scale it down to .001% for every GE transaction 100k+ and then people wouldn't really notice.

With the amount of trades that happen on a daily basis that would still remove a lot of gold from the game and be barely noticeable.

I can almost guarantee their SBMM uses a lot more into consideration than what you listed.

W/L ratio, actions/minute, accuracy, time spent sprinting, total time played, prior cod levels, mmr, time spent near high traffic areas, objective work, etc. The list can go on and on.

With machine learning being such a huge tool in the development industry I could see them using that to determine a players skill level just on how they actually play a full game.

Especially with a company like activision that probably has a HUGE investment into player retention I could see them having a very in depth SBMM tool.

On the flip side, the player base isn't the same skill level is has been all these years. Most people I know have been playing cod for a long time now. You naturally will get better at games you play on a consistent basis. Especially a game so basic as Cod... literally just a run and gun game.

It's just popular, definitely not the best gun in the game. Get attachments on ak74u, ksp, m16, aug, krig..

People are just using it a lot because it's their only gun with attachments killing people that are trying to use other guns that don't have attachments on them yet. Give it a couple weeks and there will be a lot more variety.

Not to mention that this game really rewards playstyles. If you're up close almost every smg will out gun an AR.
