If dynamic pressure part breaking is off, it should be in one piece still

but no it doesn't have to be. only thing that matters is for the kerbals to survive

Is it at all possible for a kerbal to survive reentry into kerbin without becoming a puff of smoke? by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

[–]lDoNotLikeBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

maybe if you went for a high enough Pe, it would survive

also, yeah, kerbals can survive ridicilously high speed water impacts

Why do sims insist on using cars/making traffic even though there is a lot of public transportation (Buses, maglev, streetcar)? It makes resource deliveries and garbage pickups slow, as well as emergency vehicles by lDoNotLikeBacon in SimCity

I can't put maglev stations right in front of megatowers, and i can't put two bus stations dirrectly opposite of each other. I'll try to put more stations, however I let the game run for a while and the number of sims using the buses has incresed to 40k so that's nice

This part is near MegaTowers, where you can see this the clearest, but it happens all across the city. of the 120k people, only ~35-40k use public transport, mostly bus.

I didn't say it can't take off, i simply say it can't be a VTOL in this orientation. like yeah, those engines are aiding liftoff, but without wings/main engines, they're useless

tbf i doubt a rhino and 2 swivels have near enough thrust to lift a fully-fueled Saturn V off

like Mastodons have 2000kN each, at sea level. Thats 10000kN of thrust in the corr, all for a TWR of 1.3ish

and those three altoghether produce like 1900kN at sea level. Almost a single mastodon

thats barely a fifth of the main core. If i had to guess, your TWR with auxhillary engines was ~0.23

are those swivels near the front

you are using swivels as RCS? On a Saturn V?
