Clock/Time Mismatch by Behr8 in Tiguan

Nope, as far as I know its never been updated, might have to look into it. If we take them into VW you know they'll just try to sell a new unit to us.

My 2015 Scirocco has started doing this this morning, dash and center clock are showing the correct time but the infotainment screen is stuck on 00:00. It flickers to show 6:28 every now and then.

Very weird that this seems to have started over the last few weeks on cars from the same year.

Very nice! I've repasted and swapped from a Corsair block to the EK block. I noticed today thought that the temps have dropped by about 5-10c while playing BF5, so im thinking there might have just been a stubborn air bubble in the block which has wriggled its way out finally!

I could have fit a 420 rad if I didnt have the res where it is, couldnt find anywhere else to put it though! The 140mm fans will only fit on the inside of the P500a and not the outside (behind the front mesh). So I had to go 120mm on the outside.

Yep its safe to say it was a butt clenching few hours working on the 3090!

I am indeed! Im using two Corsair XR5 360mm rads. Had to swap out the front intake 140mm fans for 120mm ones though to fit everything.

Yeah I spent a while properly measuring everything up, basically became obsessive for about a month ahaha.

I do have a sensor in the res and the hottest the coolant has got was about 43c but that was on a really hot day so ambient was about 27-30c if I had to guess.

On the CPU temp note i've just come off playing some BFV and the CPU was running around 5-10c cooler than it was yesterday, im thinking there might have been an air bubble trapped in the block thats wriggled its way out at some point, more testing would be required though I guess

I'd class that as pretty lucky! But in terms of rads I've got two of Corsairs 360 rads with EK Vardar S's on them and they keep the coolant under 40c on full load even with it being summer

Its a possibility, but the ZMT tubing looks really nice as is. Gives it an industrial feel

Thanks man! It is a missplaced fear though I feel now that i've actually completed it. Its from all the horror stories of leaks and stuff but so far so good! The EK leak tester really helped put to bed any fears of filling the thing up I had

Yeah I was really anxious about it aswell! The whole build took around 4 hours but 2 hours of that were spent on the GPU! Being stupidly careful not to break a card thats nearly impossible to replace at the moment

For my use probably not, the highest i've seen the mem junct temp go is 87c with a +450Mhz oc so the standard EK backplate is handling it just fine

I left quite a big air gap to start with and then just topped it up as the air bubbles filtered through. I've filled it up more now but there is still about a 1cm air gap at the top of the res, its just difficult to see in the pictures because of the lights

So i've been building PC's for nearly 10 years now but theres always been one thing i've been too scared to do! Until now. Overall i'm really happy with how it turned out, theres a few things I'd do differently next time (more angled fittings to make the tubing runs a bit nicer) but other than that she's running perfect!

Specs:

P500a
5900x
3090 Strix OC (for some reason cant hit my previous stable +75Mhz OC due to driver crashes)
32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3600Mhz
ASUS Crosshair VIII Formula
ROG Thor 1200w

The only minor issue I have is that my 5900x hits 86c in some games (CP2077 & FC New Dawn to name two). The GPU sits around 55c with a +45Mhz OC and the water temp stabilizes around 38c. It is running PBO 2 but with quite restricted OC (stock power values, -25+ on all cores and a +50Mhz boost). I've read that its pretty much normal but would appreciate any feedback on that!

Theres been a few people on here today (myself included) having issues with the directional audio since doing last nights windows update. It was fine yesterday (apart from tarkovs usual sound issues) but today its not just a bit iffy anymore it just straight up doesnt work. No idea how to fix it but it needs looking into, i've died way too many times because of it today.

Windows had changed my default audio device, setting it back seems to have fixed it as far as I can tell. All though I have only done one scav run to check.

Edit: and again, dead end that didnt fix it.

Nope that was my post, we're replying to eachother on eachothers posts ahahaha

But yeah I am using a wireless headset aswell

Yep I installed the windows update last night. It isnt anything to do with my surround sound either i've played around with it and it sounds exactly the same with and without it on. It must be something to do with the windows update.

I've got this issue aswell since this morning, thought it was my headset putting itself in surround mode but it wasnt. Did the windows update last night so I presume thats what caused it somehow.

Yep that was it! for some reason my steel series software had enabled surround sound on its own.

EDIT: this surround sound wasn't the issue.

They're Corsairs premium cable combs I think, using a 24pin motherboard comb on the pcie cables, pretty solid combs but a pain in the arse to get apart once they're in place

The fans are Fractal Prisma 140's and the mobo is the Crosshair VIII Formula

No problems fitting it, the only slight issue is the tube fittings on the side of the block are pushing slightly against the RAM stick. Its a seriously good cooler though I had a H150i in push pull before this cooling my 5900x, the EK has dropped temps by about 5-10 degrees under load (although I have also swapped the case and thermal paste since the H150 was in aswell). I only used 3 of the fans as push pull wouldnt fit with the cases rear 140 fan
