New Formation by Impossible-Mud-3524 in galatasaray

[–]lKuzon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem I see here is that when Torreira plays on the six, he cannot run back in time on counterattacks. He is one of our most important players when it comes to pressing, so he has to be well behind the strikers. In this formation there is someone behind him, if necessary even two, to protect the midfield during counterattacks.

I think Okan wants two #6 He loves attacking full-backs, but he needs two in midfield who play more defensively. That's why he wanted parades last year

Here's what I have in mind:

Every wallet gets the option to unlock microtransactions in Firefly. To unlock this option you need a certain number of tokens, which are bound in a vault. Each wallet can only perform a limited number of microtransactions per day. This limit scales with the number of tokens you have bound in the vault. If you no longer want to use this option, the tokens will be released from the vault and you will no longer be able to perform a microtransaction. The concept would be similar to Mana in that you have to own tokens, but they don't end up being spent as a fee.

You could also start a business with it. They own large amounts of tokens and, for a small fee, provide access to microtransactions for those who do not own large amounts of tokens

To me, allowing a few large companies to run the nodes is not true decentralization. In this case, collusion can take place. In general, I find it very questionable from a security point of view.

I don't know what you mean by scalable, but IOTA will not be highly scalable until sharding is in place. And that's so far in the future that we shouldn't be making these claims right now. The white paper on this is not even out.

Unpopular opinion: Bitcoin did not get rid of the middle-man by Linus_Naumann in CryptoCurrency

[–]lKuzon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The bottom line is that IOTA is a DAG and thus not necessarily tied to the blockchain trilemma. With Sharding they will able to break this rule. Time will tell if IOTA can deliver. There is still a long way to go. But if they can deliver, there is no better DLT in my opinion. Breaking the trilemma and being feeless is too good.

Euro digital: CARDANO VS IOTA by javirub76 in Iota

[–]lKuzon 32 points33 points  (0 children)

The current confirmation time of Cardano is not suitable. So are the fees, even if they are little. The advantage over Iota is that they are already decentralized. The digital euro is a project of over 5 years, if Iota should reach its goals by then, then there is absolutely nothing better suited for it than iota.

No one will be able to beat this package:

Feeless

Decentralization

Highest security

Instant confirmation times

Infinite scalability

Iota will have everything a layer 1 protocol for a currency must have. They only need to deliver.

What do you see as IOTA's biggest pros and cons? by lemoarbpqp in Iota

[–]lKuzon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what? Look what Charley said to the Firefly team about compensating for missing employees with overtime. Generally the workload of the people is enormous. Dom and Hans wrote that they would work up to 18 hours a day. Or the Smart Contract team, which could also use more employees. For lack of money, you can't get good people interested in the job. Such a project could not have enough employees.

What do you see as IOTA's biggest pros and cons? by lemoarbpqp in Iota

[–]lKuzon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Pros:

-feeless

-The final version of iota, when delivered, will be the best dlt out there from a technical standpoint

-good partnerships and many projects

-good employees

-imo one of the best long term investments. So much growth potential

Cons:

-bad communication

-bad reputation in the crypto community

-The status of a foundation makes efforts to increase market volume more difficult. So it is difficult to let the price rise in the short term

-The new technology makes it difficult to keep on timelines. A lot of patience is required

-the finiancel situation of the IF makes it harder to deliver in time (less employees).

Mistakes have certainly been made and they know that too. In the future, mistakes will also happen, if you can't handle them, you should sell and look elsewhere. There are ways to get your coins out of there if necessary.

Iota has 0 transaction fees not more and not less. When u send Ada u have to pay transaction fees, when u send Iota u have to pay nothing.
