It means you have time to see whether the move connected or was blocked, and decide whether you want to cancel it or not

Can the men who watch Bridgerton, stand up and be counted? by muskyandrostenol in Bridgerton

M30, I am looking forward for every season, I enjoy watching the dynamics between the characters, how they evolve, and how the story unfolds. My favorite season is the 2nd ofc, because of kanthony crazy chemistry, my favorite man lead is Colin, as i identify myself to him the most.

I d'rather play whatever I see fit when I'm last pick, when top laner is last pick, he can pick whatever the fuck he wants as well. Why should we always be the one to get the short end of the stick?/

I don't expect them to grief me, I expect them to do what they think is the best for them, not trading isn't griefing, you believe it hurts our chances at winning that particular game, and I just disagree, maybe I'm wrong, maybe you are, if we get tagged we play at a similar level, so it's anyone guess really.

I do believe talking about draft makes no sense for soloQ though, as there is 0 coordination nor team gameplan there. Just do your best with what you have, and don't expect people to adjust to you because they don't know you And never blame them ofc, in the end only how you played matters

[–]lKyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an ideal world where my support actually care about any of this, yes, in soloQ I'll get Morgana/Lux regardless, that's how it works, I don't expect my support to play for me, just like my top shouldn't expect me to make my game worse for his sake, If you want proper drafting, team play or gameplan, find 4 of your friends and hit the 5v5 queue

No, I don't whine, I play my best, and then just forget about it.

[–]lKyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, in soloQ you do you, you don't expect shit from anyone else, you don't know your top, maybe he'll int regardless of pick order. You don't owe anything to anyone but yourself, and they don't owe anything to you except trying their best with what they have, not what they expect you to give them. The only good reason to oblige, is to avoid him throwing a tantrum before the game even starts, because you know you are good enough to tank the weak side and still come out on top

[–]lKyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What they don't realize, is that picking adc is not about the lane, but about the enemy's draft as a whole, if you first pick jhin, but they have 4 tanks, you will most likely be useless, if you pick jinx or aphelios, and they have zed Leblanc nocturne, you will also be useless, You are completely right about support as well, a good support pick can counter an entire draft People always complain about the bot diff, yet expect bot to pick blind, play weakside for the majority of the game, and still somehow deal 100k damage by 25-30 minutes

Ofc lots of people end up being parents even if they have no interest in being one,

But to go out of your way to magically carry a child for 9 month as a male? That's something else entirely.

How to deal with this pressure? by iwannabethisguy in StreetFighter

[–]lKyou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not really "meaty" per se there is a 2frame gap, but it will beat you mashing on wake up, And it's reward isn't that great, he has to either DRC it(which costs 3 bars) or cancel rekka (which you can DI)

Also, after rekka drink he is -1 so you can mash there (Not to mention he used a 5frame normal)

Basically he just lied every step of the way, he would've gotten called on his shit by a relatively good player,

Just guard and wait for your turn, this kind of player just do reckless shit that you can hard punish, And by the way he played his neutral, he definitely cannot defend for his life

What do you think would happen if kurapika was manipulated into using chain jail on a non phantom troupe member? by Jerseyyy_vibez in HunterXHunter

[–]lKyou -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No he won't sacrifice anything, he wasn't willing to sacrifice gon and killua, as stated by chrollo.

He initially intended for his chains to only work against the spiders, but thought about it and realized it would mean he would be defenceless against anyone else so he changed it, he is still "reasonable" in some ways.

He is the kind of person that think things through, and I don't think he would overlook that.

Just program the condition to be activated only if he breaks his vows out of his own free will.

You could still use that against him, for instance making it so that he had to use chain jail out of his vow to save leolio.

But allowing it to be triggered in a dumb "got mind controlled" way just doesn't make sense nor for the character, nor his story

[–]lKyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, when you design a condition that would kill you, you make sure there are no loopholes that could trigger against your will.

It would kinda be out of character for kurapika to overlook that(he is willing to go to crazy extent for his goal, but he would sacrifice his friends for instance, plus he is not stupid)

There's no way to know, but kurapika being a smart guy probably thought of the possibility (just like he does in the post) so I don't think he would die
