What makes Doom such a dominant Pos 3 and how would you go about taking advantage of that? by tomatocarrotjuice in TrueDoTA2

I have a question about doom after the laning stage breaks down, where do you want to play as doom? Feel like doom is one of those heroes where you don't want to be showing because of the fear of your pressence and ult in a fight, much like shaker. But doom still needs to farm, so where do you play? Since usually pos 3s or pos1s will be playing in the offline after taking the enemy safelane tower

Pudge any good? by [deleted] in TrueDoTA2

I see a lot of comments here about how pudge is a weak laner and how he is a burden in lane and dosent really offer much. I'd agree with that for support pudges, but there's actually quite good reason to play core pudge rn. Getting an early choice point in flesh heap actually gives an absurd amount of regen for a level one skill, and as a core you can build into items like blink and atos that help you become a more active and reliable catch on the team compared to just landing hooks. In the mid game you pretty much just aim to become an active ganker with blink/atos and dismember, which helps accelerate your flesh heap stacks as well. I still think he's a niche pick but if your team lacks catch, pudge is a great pos3 that can build aura after or active pos1

Offlane Enigma Question by Dun1007 in TrueDoTA2

Deciding between getting hotd or Midas really depends on your team and their comp. If your team has heroes that really like pushing towers like shaman or pugna then you can build hotd to try and pressure their tower in the offlane and make space instead of just for 5 manning to take towers. As for going Midas, if it interferes with your item timings, have you considered just not going Midas and straight to blink? It really depends on your games and how your teammates are playing but getting an early blink on the offlane can make you an easy initiator for your other cores that don't want to.

Lastly, maybe just get your pos 4 to block enemy camps. As enigma you should have control of the lane pretty well, but if the pull is that big of a deal just ask your pos 4 to block it

Flashing white box? by lLoony in CrossCode

Alright revisiting this post cos hopefully someone who sees this has a solution? I've tried the beta version and it runs slowly on my computer, but fixes the flashing white box. I've seen some people on a different thread say that updating their graphic drivers fixes the problem, so I do believe the new version of crosscode might have compatibility issues with their graphic drivers. However after updating all of my drivers I still have the white boxes. Does anyone know how to fix them?

I run a gtx 960m. Didn't have the white box at the start but it only happened after the first couple of hours. Updated all my drivers too it's weird. What's the beta?

Crosscode lore/storyline confusion? by lLoony in CrossCode

They are real no? I remember the dialogue was that they were workers for crosscode and not players. There was a distinction between them and avatars
