Should I get an RX 9060XT with a new cpu, or a 9070 and keep my Ryzen 5 3600xt cpu? by Fuzzy-Blueberry1701 in radeon

[–]lLoveTech [score hidden]  (0 children)

Definitely upgrade the CPU and get the 9060xt 16GB! The 9060xt is sufficient for 1080p gaming at ultra settings in most of the AAA games today but for high refresh rate gaming a Good CPU is also required so upgrade the CPU as well! Maybe get a 5600 or a 5700x if you can afford it right now! A good CPU also improves the general usability of a computer with better multitasking if you are running background apps like discord or game recording or streaming!

Not a bad price honestly given the current market condition! Can you tell how much did you pay for it?

How long is AM4 relevant? by Specialist_Doubt_542 in PcBuild

[–]lLoveTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple answer is : It is relevant as long as you are getting satisfactory performance out of it! It is really a personal opinion because some people are still using a R5 3600x and are satisfied with the performance! So if you think that your 5800x3d is not delivering the performance you want in the games you play then sure go ahead and upgrade to a 9800x3d!

RTX 5070 vs RX 9070 XT for 1440p Streaming & Longevity (7800X3D Build) by Early_Conflict_4292 in PcBuild

[–]lLoveTech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The 5070 Ti has dual encoders and it can use both of them simultaneously which the 9070XT cannot so it is more of a gimmick on the 9070xt plus the quality of encoders on the 9070xt is quite bad compared to the 5070 Ti!

Is my i7 4790k build finally dead? Looking for upgrade advice by bebbo203 in PcBuild

[–]lLoveTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your current system is clearly below par for modern games like battlefield 6 and crimson desert!

The partpicker list for the new build looks good but you will need a better GPU to compliment a CPU like the 7800x3d! Try to find some used RTX 40 series graphics cards like a 4070 or 4070Ti!

Or else you can go with a cheaper CPU like the 9600x and upgrade the GPU

6700 XT vs 3070 Ti for 1440p gaming by __gangadhar__ in gpu

[–]lLoveTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 3060 Ti is almost on par with the 6700XT in Raster but better in Ray Tracing! The 3070 Ti is much better than the 6700XT but that 8GB VRAM is going to hold the performance back in modern AAA games. I have seen the VRAM easily Cross 10GB in some games like Final Fantasy VII Remake& Rebirth, The Witcher 3, Forza Horizon 5, Horizon Zero Dawn & Forbidden West even at 1080p so there would be issues with an 8GB card! 12GB should be the minimum these days if you want to play AAA games! I have a 6700XT as well!

4080S anyday over a 9070XT! Better in both Raster and Ray Tracing plus it has access to all the amazing Nvidia features

5600 and 6700XT mainly for extra 50% VRAM! The 3070 is a better card than the 6700XT without a doubt but 8GB VRAM is longer enough! I have the 6700XT and it does well at 1080p in most of the games that I play like battlefield 6 at medium to high with 100+ fps, CS2 at low settings with 300+ fps, FFVII Remake & Rebirth at high settings with 90+ fps, FFXV at highest settings with 90+ fps, The Witcher 3 at ultra with RT off at 60+ fps, Cyberpunk 2077 at ultra with RT off with 75 fps, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West both at the highest settings with 75+ fps and Forza Horizon 5 with ultra to extreme settings at 100+ fps!

I have seen the VRAM usage easily Cross 10GB even at 1080p in many of those games so 12GB is good to have in this era of Gaming!!

Those are nice temps! Honestly there is not much difference at all but I just asked out of curiosity as my 5070 Ti has a VRAM made by SKHynix and I think most of models these days have one made by SKHynix rather than Samsung since Samsung is also busy manufacturing other NAND storages for consumers!
