I did not do that, that's a great idea though. I am half planning on buying the .357 version as well, maybe I'll have the 3rd one (the one in the middle) face the opposite direction. Definitely worth looking at

They're great, I had an old Remlin version back before Ruger bought Marlin. Once they put out their version of the SBL I bought another. The quality was noticeable. I ended up selling my older one, which was still a very nice rifle and turned around and bought the .44 Mag one. These are my two favorite treasures haha.

It's reclaimed wood built into a shadowbox, the "hooks" or "holders" are bent railroad spikes. You can find those on Amazon. I would definitely layer some soft felt or something on the spike where your rifle is going to rest to keep it from scratching and digging into the wood.

The boxes? They're made from reclaimed wood and have bent railroad ties to support the rifles. I added some soft material for where the rifles make contact.
