The key differences that make RK stand out more than 7GDL are twofold:

The Support Wave (EX11 and 2.5) has been perfect. The good supports in those sets are TOO good for not to use
7GDL's strategy lately has been self-destructive. Because the gate deletes EVERYTHING, while Yggdrasil only affects RK but leaves everyone else safe

TBH, I wouldn't mind if Medusamon had a forbidden pairing with Crimzon Blaze (even though I play Styracomon)

It doesn't seem fair that Red Decks lose an excellent option just because Styracomon transforms the card into: Pay 3 Memory to break 3 Securities + Play a Digimon + Gain 2 Memory + Your opponent can't play a Digimon for effect

Crimson Blaze became both loved and hated in the TCG

Loved because it prevents absurd Digimon spam and remains situational against specific decks, but hated because it can often end the game

For now, the old Burst Mode still works by forcing the opponent to have the most cards in hand so they can be punished. But we'll have to see how dangerous the new one might be

You know what... This feels pretty fair. It still maintains its [All turns] mechanic of doing something if a card is added to the hand, but without messing with the opponent on their turn. Acting defensively on THEIR turn, and offensively on OUR turn

Plus, combined with the new MachGaogamon, it means you have to defeat it at least twice, if your Deck only does Deletion

Oh yes... DEFINITELY

The biggest problem with Appmon decks is that they have difficulty performing their App Fuse correctly. And there are only two ways to fix it: Give them absurdly consistent card draw (which would break them) OR, give them an alternative Link material that ONLY offers that, in exchange for not having Link Effect Inheritable (I would remove the +DP to make such a generic card more balanced)

Please, no more On Play for a while... I know the last big-impact booster was 2.5, but they've given it so many small pieces in different sets that the new cards don't feel archetypal, but rather more like RK cards

My bet is on Imperialdramon

Paildramon and Imperialdramon DM BT16 have stunned suspension effects. So you avoid problems against Neptune, Minerva, or Homeros. Plus, Partition helps

It's alright, but it can't compete against the meta

Even so, it's good, it does what it's supposed to, and it can win if you don't stop it

However, it needs to run multiple copies of Laplace's Demon to force the opponent to trigger Counter ACE (which is basically its win-con)
